After calling the company for help I received no response after leaving multiple messages. MotherGoosetime did respond by saying they will be charging for the app one all the loose ends are fixed. Also we would like to let the app transition students from one classroom to the next each year to have 2-3 years of data saved. ### 1/5 — Do the developers know what they’re doing? *2019-08-22, version 2.6.3* I have no clue how this is still used in schools. The app requires multiple refreshes before any of my ratings or moments appear. This is. It user friendly at all. I have to use the app to archive my class then I can only add students using the web page and then have to go back to he app to set the rating period. I’m wondering if the people who develop this app ever test it out themselves. I was hoping this would help me as a teacher but it o it makes my job that much harder. Please get a real, active teachers input. ### 1/5 — Crashes 24/7 *2018-11-19, version 2.4.0* This app is horrible. It always crashes. Fails to upload posts and I have never been able to see comments. ### 1/5 — Not impressed *2018-10-19, version 2.3.7* I am pretty annoyed with so many features. There is not enough tutorials to inform parents how to use. You can only upload 9 photos at a time. Very inconvenient when you want to upload a photo of your entire class of 16 plus. Inconsistencies between platforms. Androids tend not to be user friendly. You are not able to add parents via email or text. ### 2/5 — Great but doesn't work for several of my families. *2018-08-11, version 2.3.2* When I started using Childfolio two months ago the app was working great and all families could access the content without issue. Now as the new school year has started and I'm adding more families, the new families are not able to install the app. I have attempted contacting customer support but have not received a reply. ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2018-05-03, version 2.2.0* The app will often lock me out and I have to I un-download the app then re-download. I have an IPhone and I make sure to update the app every time it’s suggested. Also I have the Mother Goose Time curriculum which I set up on the app when I first created my classroom, but when I evaluate the kids (do an assignment) instead of letting me give the kids the benchmark that coordinates with Mother Goose Time it will ask me to choose which level they are. I also wish I could print a comprehensive report of each learning domain to show my parent and be able to break up my overall “level” score or benchmark score into each quarter. Just not super user friendly. I do like that you can add a note, a picture/video, and do your assessment and be able to share it with the families. ### 3/5 — ok on ipad *2022-02-28, version 2.8.5* works well on ipad and iphone. the English version is trash. cant log it. wolud be a 5 start with mac OS support and better English suppost. ### 3/5 — Sunroom *2019-01-24, version 2.4.2* App is very helpful . It could be little more user friendly ### 3/5 — I do love it but.. *2018-08-23, version 2.3.3* Here’s the thing it’s great to be able to make memories and also use it for reporting my problem is that it needs updating. I really hope you take this into consideration because I do love this app and want to give it five stars. First problem I have is when someone comments on a photo and I go to approve it it says ERROR. That’s not right I can’t even see what they said it doesn’t show. Also when I want to add parents or family members they can use the invitation code because it always tells them it’s invalid. Please please fix this issue as I don’t wish to stop using this app because I really do think it’s great. As a teacher, it has come in handy to voice record and take picture directly into their portfolio then, rate them accordingly.
