Then one around each 20 seconds. And each ad last around 15-20 seconds too. Basically an ad marathon with short breaks in which you can try to quickly use the app. ### 3/5 — Langue *2025-05-18, version 5.1* Super application, mais bien dommage de pas l’avoir dans notre langue ### 3/5 — Good idea; problematic in practice; censorship *2024-10-16* The idea of an app to help individuals to convene LGBTQI+ group get togethers (‘chills’) is a good one. It’s not entirely accurate at the time of writing to claim (as their description currently does) that it’s the only app that’s facilitating this; but it’s the only one that I am aware of with this overt, primary intention. I’ve been interacting with the app on a regular basis for over a year now. The adoption and use varies considerably by country/city: in London there are relatively fewer active users and chills announced compared to certain other cities in continental Europe, in particular in Holland, Belgium and Spain where there seems to be more activity. This is a chicken and egg issue and I hope more Londoners will consider using the app. There’s a steady flow of European visitors and it seems that most users are prepared to share their face pic and many more share other pics in their private picture galleries that are viewable upon request. The subscription is a bit of a con, I must say. The price is shown in Euros but if you’re a U.K. user you will get charged that number in £, not allowing for the exchange rate difference. The app is so scared of people breaking with the admittedly conservative and restrictive policies of the main App Stores that they censor and black list content inappropriately, eg not taking account of its context. I realise that it’s a hard tightrope to walk but the app developers don’t seem to care that they are losing supporters and subscriptions with their current approach. This is a real shame. ### 2/5 — Ads that are 5 minutes long *2024-09-13, version 4.7* Do you want to chat? Nope, Do you want to see a profile? Guess again! The closing X is to high and right that you can’t close it.
