Constantly freezes from the camera, and seems like we’re always having to reset it or something to get it to work properly. Currently, it’s not showing any of the recordings and when I contacted support, and keep getting told that nobody is available to assist. What good is a camera monitor if the video is always freezing/glitching and you can’t even see what’s happening in the past because it no longer shows. My son has somehow fallen out of bed twice in the past week, and somehow, the camera wasn’t recording the motion, even though it will record if his finger flinches in his sleep. It’s not usable, and it’s barely supported. You can’t get in touch with the “live chat” (actually slow email with weeks’ response time) because the app crashes too fast to send a message. The monitor drops connection frequently. The app gives you non-stop notifications for sound, even on the lowest sensitivity, when there is zero additional sound being created beyond the white noise machine in the room. The app will never connect to the camera when you open it, you have to force close it to get a connection EVERY SINGLE TIME. I cannot express enough how terrible this tech is. However, after this last update, the camera screen goes blank multiple times a night. I have to restart it so often, it’s become a hassle. Not sure if it’s a glitch or what but I’ve also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing has helped. When I looked at the camera the blanket was covering my baby’s face and immediately I got up to adjust her blankets away from her face. Best regards. ### 5/5 — App could be better *2024-05-06* Too many times I go to playback or save a video and then it tells me the clip is corrupted and it deletes it on its own. I even have SD cards in and it still does this at times. The Chillax Home camera will freeze or go slow motion and lose audio at the end of some video clips. I can’t recall if I experience that with the Giraffe which I use for my babies crib. The parent unit would be nicer if the picture actual fit the frame and you could move around zoom in, or if the parent unit would work with the Home cameras as it does not support those. Also, if I turn off someone ability to see the monitor that I share it with, it does not stop them from being able to view the camera. I have to uncheck the cameras they have access to because simply just turning their ability to view off doesn’t work or delete them entirely. And when you reject someone the video goes away but audio is still there. Lots of “bugs” But besides these minor issues, I enjoy this monitoring system and still would recommend it. **Developer response:** Hello. Thank you for your honest review. I can see it when I am not at home, and I enjoy receiving alerts. The temperature monitor is not accurate, though. You also have to close completely out of the app, then restart it in order to refresh the live camera.
