Gets 1 star because it does not work in the background. You must have the app open on screen for it to be functional. So on a run w set chime to alternate walking and running, it works great until I switch screens to see a text or change the music. My iPad timer and alarm on the Apple clock app are always set on the same daily schedule, so these chimes are great for other matters.
