The general gameplay was extremely addictive (Elephant at its finest), some of the inventory tools were innovative, and the HO scenes had an interesting and challenging variety. I did not love the mini-games, as most were of the trite, rotational sort. The game was a decent points to indicate available actions. I generally don’t love this series, but I have to admit this game was terrific. I deducted a star for the crashing issue. In addition, I do not love the layout of the strategy guide. Put all the collectibles’ location at the end of the guide! Also, one of the mini-games had a random solution? There is no such thing! Every puzzle has a solution. Newer gamers would have taken umbrage at not being able to solve that particular game. My sentiment is this: stop playing for achievements. Instead, just enjoy the game! I wanted to say thank you to every gamer who wrote to me with words of encouragement and prayer, when I announced that my boyfriend has cancer and I could use some much-needed support.
