Please help! ### 3/5 — Some glitches *2021-04-01, version 2.4* The app is great when it works. I tried on an old IPad and it worked about half the time. Might be my old device. The syllabication rules do not align with what I teach in an Orton-Gillingham program. I found the progression to be a little confusing at times. Also, I did not feel there were enough levels. I did really enjoy the graphics. I know my students would love that part, especially the bonus round chopping. ### 1/5 — UK rules *2015-01-07* My students love this app however level 2 is based on UK syllable division rules and therefore confuses students in the US. He is revisiting it now as a refresher. Very positive response from my students who have used it. I find it works well as an activity to support work on syllables. We complete one level as a fun activity at the end of the lesson. This means we can build up slowly. Students look forward to their Chimp Fu. So much is phonics based lovely to get something fun with syllables. I found it had a good age range appeal. My younger ones loved it and 11 year olds, years 6 and 7, played it very happily. (probably because it was more fun than my normal activity of cutting words up with scissors).
