Thank you. ### 1/5 — App keeps shutting down *2025-01-12, version 4.6* Buggy app. Keeps exiting every time I use the dashboard. This problem has been ongoing for a year, maybe more. The “solution” they gave me was to reinstall the app and restart my phone. Sometimes this will work, sometimes not. Do they expect users to do this tedious routine every single time they need to use the app? I am a developer myself and it is shocking that this mess has been published in this state. It would just shut down and even after refreshing the app the problem goes on. No transaction can be done even after multiple attempts. This has got to be the worst banking app I’ve ever had to use. I have to fully enroll payees even if I’m only ever going to send them money once in my life, and worse I keep getting logged out “due to inactivity” while I’m in the middle of processing transactions? And when I log back in it tells me I have an existing session and need to wait a few minutes before I can log back in. It’s so inconvenient and makes work so inefficient!!! ### 1/5 — Chinabank App: A Complete Disappointment *2025-08-20, version 4.6* This has been the most disappointing banking app I’ve used. For an “online banking app,” it is highly unreliable. Opening an account with Chinabank Corporation feels like a mistake because of the poor performance of this app. Accessibility and convenience should be its primary purpose, but instead, it often causes frustration due to frequent crashes, freezing, and overall non-functionality. I use multiple banking apps, and unfortunately, this is by far the worst. It keeps logging out and when I log in i will not be able to finish my transaction because it keeps receiving an error. I hope you work on improving this application. However, beneath the new clothing, it’s still very much the same old CBC app. Wouldn’t it be more worthwhile to prioritise useful features, like the lock function? I’ve been using this banking app, and unfortunately, it’s been a frustrating experience. The app crashes constantly, making it unreliable for completing even basic transactions. Whether I’m trying to log in or transfer funds, it either freezes or shuts down unexpectedly. To make matters worse, the app lacks modern security features like fingerprint or Face ID login. In a time when most apps offer these for convenience and security, it’s disappointing to see them missing here. I’ve tried reinstalling and keeping it updated, but the issues remain. A banking app should be stable, secure, and user-friendly—this one isn’t. I can easily access my payroll account and transfer to other savings account. Transfer fees are acceptable and instant. I also did not encounter any trouble with them and the security features is beyond to my expectation. Very fast, secure and reliable app. I cant wait to see more features being added on this app. Thank you ### 5/5 — Very convenient!!! *2023-04-29, version 4.1* Chinabank app is an underrated app. Of all the mobile bankings I have, this is by far the most efficient and convenient! My favorite feature is the NOW transaction wherein I can withdraw even if I forgot to bring my card or I just wanted to have a faster transaction if there’s a long queue at the ATM. While waiting for my turn, I will transact my desired amount to be withdrawn using the app then I’ll just take note of the reference and OTP. I think not many are aware of this amazing feature. My second favorite is the peek balance. I can easily see my balance without having the trouble of logging in. It’s secured because you have the option to put your biometrics or face ID. What I would like suggest for improvement in this app is to have the option to remove or delete some of your saved contacts/billers/accounts because it tends to be too crowded while scrolling thru my most frequently used contacts. I also have deactivated credit cards that are still at my billers which makes it confusing for me. Overall, I love chinabank mobile banking! It’s rare that I’m taking my taking my time to write a review. This shows how much I appreciate this among the rest while others never fail to disappoint. ### 5/5 — Super user friendly *2022-11-22, version 4.1* I like that the app is user friendly and straight to the point. There were issues tho when I hadn’t updated my iOS. Interface is straight forward. Users don’t have to press a lot of options before they can do their transaction. However, if I may suggest, please add also the lock and unlock feature of credit and debit cards so that we can use it as a protection from any unauthorized transactions. This feature is already present in other online banking app that’s why I can compare. Also, I appreciate it if you can present the transactions made by the credit cards so we can track every transaction and see if all are authorized or not.
