Ads are necessary in a free app.   But an ad every five words is far too frequent and interrupts any learning.

This app doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but it is solid as a flashcard app. The interface is simple and easy to use. It is a particularly good app for people like me who know how to speak Chinese but need to practice their characters.
