If all you want is to read the bible, then I would say it does the job pretty well. In terms of features, it's very limited. 
Two things I would to request: (1) if I can highlight, why can't I unhighlight ? (2) notes can only be sent to others via email, Facebook and some other external web sites but cannot stored locally.

2008-08-15: Thanks for the update.  The function "Chapter" doesn't work. It change the chaoter, but it stuck.
