It also says delivery not available but that could be my local one. ### 2/5 — Unable to Add Address *2023-04-22* Attempted to place an order and was not even able to save an address for delivery. Would blank out the address field but save the apartment field for some reason. ### 3/5 — Gift card issue *2023-03-16, version 1.0.0* The app seems improved since the old app, but I’m surprised that there’s a place to load your gift cards however there’s no way to enter letter characters. This makes the tool impossible to use since every chip gift card I have has had numbers and letters. Seems like a basic thing that a developer should have noticed and fixed. Try ordering without the promotion” Well no ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-06-16* Wanted to order, tried to change chip store location, and it doesn’t stop spinning. ### 1/5 — App uses outdated Address finder *2024-01-07* Unfortunately, I live only a mile away from Chip and yet, the “new and improved” app now tells me my address is not in the delivery area (it used to work just fine). But when I call Chip to order for delivery, they can pull up my address no problem? I’ve written them and complained several times and this still has not been fixed on the app. Whichever address search engine the app is using is garbage. It’s frustrating because it means I can’t use/earn my loyalty points by using the app. ### 1/5 — Unable to Log In *2023-05-18* I downloaded the app and created an account two days ago. I have been able to log in to my account through my web browser, but not via the app (it tells me I have the wrong credentials). I was unable to earn any points during my visit to a local store. I was advised by employees to reach out to support to have the points credited to my account, but nowhere on the website or the app is any contact information to be found. 🤷🏼‍♂️ ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2023-05-09, version 1.0.1* The app literally doesnt work. It wont let me order online and wheneve I come in to the store to scan my qr code, it wont read at all. Worst App ever! *2023-04-26* My mother could do a better job putting this app together for you and she can barely turn on the computer. The only reason I know what cookies you have this week is from my IG account. Hire a professional before you are out of business and your yummy cookies don’t hit my bottom line anymore! ### 1/5 — No Menu *2023-04-06* Why would any organization update their app and make it harder to see what their product offering is? Food is seeing an irresistible photo and immediately craving that item. Now when I open the app, I have to dummy out an order to even see the weekly flavors. Now I see a small icon, instead of a full size photo and fleshed out description. The only one winning here is my scale because it’s super easy for me to close out and resist the temptation now. ### 1/5 — No place to even see the new flavor *2023-03-20* Would you believe that their new and "improved" app doesn't even show you the weekly flavor? Because it sure doesn't. The only way to see it is to make an order, and even then it only tells you the name of the cookie and offers no information about what's in it or even what it looks like. The app looks like a lazy students' final project. ### 1/5 — A much worse experience than their previous app *2023-03-04* Their last app wasn’t great so I was excited to try this out. Surprised they shipped this as an improvement. ### 1/5 — Make sure you’re home to sign for your box of cookies? *2023-03-03* I got a promotion in my email today from CHIP telling me I could download the app and get a discount on my order so I did. I placed a delivery order for this afternoon. I got a text from a DoorDash worker about 45 minutes after my selected delivery time asking where I wanted to meet (Preferably my house… the address I entered? Also I didn’t order through DoorDash). I asked if the box could just be dropped at my door. They said no, that I would have to sign for it. I’ve literally never experienced that before unless it’s expensive electronics. And there was no indication of that requirement before I made the order or I wouldn’t have. So the driver returned my order to the store. When I called about a refund, I was on the line with one employee and then randomly switched to another after a few minutes with no context. I was given a refund but as far as the app goes I won’t be using it again :) I’m bummed about it. Anyway, that’s why I’m giving one star! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Easy to order now *2026-05-07* It was much more difficult to place orders on the previous versions. I applaud the developer with the new app. Super smooth and always works great for me.
