### 4/5 — Ok

*2026-10-02*

You only get five shots for free if you’re playing with the free pass otherwise you have to buy the extra pass to get other shots

### 3/5 — Ok

*2026-10-02*

Better than others in ease of use. Garmin is about 30 yards longer and can detect without sound. Perfect shots that feel and sound like butter don’t ever get picked up. Gets annoying that the best shots seem to fall off. Tried it at all sorts of different lengths. Needing 17’ is kinda a pain too when you move it inside for the winter. Still not quite in competition to the real thing. Hope it gets there but it’s a long ways off still. Best one on the phones.

### 3/5 — GolfTrak

*2026-08-23*

Spent a lot of my time trying to connect it to E6. Once I did get it connected. It was night time. I set it up on my back patio in a well lit area and would not track a swing. Recommend a night mode for the recognition of the camera. Every time my club would move. It would tell me shot not recognizable. If it does better tomorrow in the day time I’ll change my rating.

### 1/5 — Terrible developers

*2026-06-05, version 2.3.30*

The whole registration via Apple ID is broken , has issues with trying to use the Apple ID . Also forgot password link on website does not work. Dead landing page.

### 4/5 — Launch Monitor Review

*2026-05-20*

I tried out the GolfTrak launch monitor because I can’t afford the big brand one I’d like at the moment, but I’d still like to practice. I was very impressed with the accuracy of the distance while practicing while comparing it to what I know my distances to be about. The longer irons were better than the short irons and wedges. I think once the ball rises to a certain height it is more difficult for the device to read. I also tried making a wedge matrix and was very surprised with the accuracy of my 1/4 and 1/2 swing distances. The app was also very consistent with my numbers. Definitely would recommend if you need something cheap with decent reliable accuracy.

### 3/5 — Best tracker app for phones

*2026-05-12, version 2.3.29*

This is definitely The best phone app available. Still, to many false reads.

### 4/5 — Accurate and great for offseason

*2026-05-07*

I used GolfTrak to stay fine tuned over the winter The app is accurate and really great when you pair with E6. When I ran into issues with launch angle, I reached out to Igor and team and they jumped on a zoom call to help. Really great experience with the app and team.

### 5/5 — Great at home entertainment

*2026-05-05*

This app is amazing for wet days to keep your game on top

### 1/5 — This app sucks

*2026-05-04, version 2.3.29*

It won’t even let me hit the ball it says can not detect shot and when I’m getting ready to hit it says could not detect ball

### 4/5 — Solid

*2026-05-04, version 2.3.29*

Have yet to fully test it out in my outdoor set up, but hit a few shots at a simulator with this setup as well and was pretty close to same carry distances.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Golftrak

*2026-09-27*

Maybe the most useless app I have ever downloaded. Tried it 2 times and every shot says “can’t detect shot”. It worked 2 times in 25 shots

### 1/5 — horrible

*2026-09-17*

don’t work

### 1/5 — TERRIBLE

*2026-09-16, version 2.3.36*

Just keeps on telling me, “Can not detect shot” and then doesn’t give me a distance or anything

### 1/5 — Cannot Be Relied Upon. Don’t waste money.

*2026-09-12*

App relies way too much on loft for distances. Sand wedges carrying for 240 yards while 4 iron reads at 70, all while I set everything up accurately according to the apps instructions. Until the app
can adjust to its measurement settings you have to be too close to the phone and also too close the net. It can’t track enough ball flight to be accurate. No reason to spend money on it.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-08-22, version 2.3.35*

You need such specific things right in this and when indoors terrible don’t even bother

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-08-16*

Takes ages to find the ball and 90% of the time says it can’t detect the shot, and every time it is in the 15/30 yard range even though it is a really good shot. Awful app but the concept is really good. If you fixed this I would use. -WOULD NOT RECOMMEND-

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2026-08-03*

Kept turning off. Tracked one shot on an hour session. But said I used two clubs?! Don’t waste your time. Thank god I had a free trial and didn’t waste my money

### 1/5 — Doesn’t support SE 3rd gen

*2026-08-01*

App Store indicates my phone is supported but when I launched the app then it said the SE 3rd gen not supported. And only place indicating not supported is buried on one page deep in the GolfTrak support webpage.

### 1/5 — Sucks

*2026-07-20, version 2.3.33*

This app sucks

### 1/5 — E6 Can’t Connect

*2026-06-26*

No support for E6

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Très bien

*2026-07-26*

Il perfome mieux que sur shot vision pour ceux qui connaisse et les données sont tres bonne je tape avec mes mizuno 900 jpx forged et j’ai les mêmes données qu’a mon practice alors que je les tape dans mon jardin

### 5/5 — Best launch monitor on Iphone

*2026-05-22*

App works great. Pretty straightforward to use. You get 5 free fully tracked shots a day. Paid options give you access to GS Pro and E 6 Connect. I have not used shot vision but i think you have to pay to try, and i don’t think they give you simulator access. I have had trouble with the golf boy app accuracy, and I have not bought their tripod, so this app stands out as the best option in my opinion. Use a tripod and mark your balls with lines as a small tip for reading the ball

### 5/5 — Helped Me Drop Strokes!

*2026-05-13, version 2.3.29*

The app is great! It helped me really dial in my swing strength and accuracy for various yardage, especially for my short game and now landing on the green instead of missing long or short.

### 5/5 — Amazing launch monitor

*2026-05-13*

Very good app if you can’t afford a launch monitor not 100% accurate but close enough for at home practice

### 5/5 — Solid golf tracking app

*2026-05-13*

Pretty easy to setup and use with a net inside. Connects to opengolfsim easily and works well. Wish it could detect my slice but what more can you ask from an app that runs on your phone.

### 5/5 — Used a couple times

*2026-05-12*

For that it offers it’s a very convenient was of getting your data. At times set up can be tedious but once set up it plays nice.

### 5/5 — Great app if you have a tripod

*2026-05-12, version 2.3.29*

I’m sure this app would be phenomenal if I had a tripod but it’s just too tricky without one

### 5/5 — It is very good

*2026-05-09*

It is more cost effective than a launch monitor it gives the data and is parity accurate

### 5/5 — Great product!

*2026-05-07*

I've been using golf track since iit was in beta. I love it! I even reccomend it to a golfer I met off fb marketplace just yesterday when buying some jumbomax grips. It learns from your shots and is slays getting better.. Keep up the good work. Ty Golf Track

### 5/5 — GolfTrak

*2026-05-06*

Works well has great features, only found it a bit tedious to set up
