Setup some measurements, go half way through using them and bam - they are gone and no memory to speak of. Not for professional use at all. The options to input information are almost non existent. No seat cut option for rafters, no stair angle option for baluster spacing, the list goes on. Way too basic. NOT ONE.. unless I pay $100… $100?! For a goddamn calculator? No thanks . Update yes, it’s $100, for lifetime.. it says $99 then plus tax… as per the sub/buy option. I can’t use any tools except the bolster feature. Your ad doesn’t include that information and what is misleading. The trial should be free to see an example of how the tools work. Our app has been around for years with tens of thousands of happy users worldwide, and it relies on extremely precise decimal calculations in millimetres. So, an inch or two is quite a material discrepancy in the calculations. For context, all calculations in the back end occur to an accuracy greater than 0.0000000000039 of an inch before rounding to what you see, which may be 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, or 1/64 of an inch depending on your settings. We take your assertion that the measurements are out by an inch or two very seriously. This is the first time we’ve encountered such a report, so it’s possible you’re using a different construction approach that the app isn’t currently set up for. We’re open to improving the app and adding alternative methods as needed, but we haven’t received any similar feedback recently. It is invaluable to have all of them in one offline database. From square feet or cubic yard, the DIYr will self-combust crunching the numbers (one conversion wrong and the project comes to a halt). Chippy makes some of those calculations easy and that’s worth the price of admission. **Developer response:** Thanks so much for the awesome review — this absolutely made our day!
