## What is Chiqui?

Turn Bedtime Struggles into Magical Moments

Bedtime isn't just about going to sleep; it’s when all the big feelings of the day finally catch up. Whether your child is feeling frustrated, anxious, or bubbling with endless energy, getting them to settle down can be the hardest part of parenting.

Enter a new kind of bedtime. Navigate your child's big feelings and bring peace to your nighttime routine with beautifully personalized stories crafted exactly for what they need tonight.

We don't just insert your child's name into a pre-written template. Our advanced storytelling engine weaves their unique personality, their favorite things, and their current emotional state into a bespoke adventure where they are the hero.

Key Features
Tailored to Tonight’s Mood: Is your child feeling sad, angry, or over-excited? Select their exact emotion, and the app will generate a story perfectly paced to validate their feelings and gently guide them toward a calm, peaceful sleep.

Deeply Personalized Profiles: Build a rich profile for your child. Add their quirks, interests (from dinosaurs to painting), fears, and "growth edges" (like learning to share or being brave in the dark) so every story feels intimately familiar.

Empowering, Not Preachy: Kids tune out when they feel lectured. Our stories avoid "magic wand" solutions and heavy-handed morals. Instead, your child gets to listen to a character just like them navigate relatable challenges and find their own inner resilience.

Spark Meaningful Connection: Every story comes with thoughtful, age-appropriate conversation starters. These warm, curious questions help you connect with your child and process the day together before they drift off.

Endless Variety: With thousands of combinations of magical biomes, character archetypes, and gentle narrative arcs, you will never read the same story twice.

Give them the tools to understand their feelings. Give yourself the gift of a peaceful bedtime.

Download today and start navigating big feelings, one bedtime story at a time.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-05-21

A few important fixes and improvements in this update.

We fixed an issue where subscribers were still seeing the upgrade screen after purchasing Chiqui Plus. Your subscription is now recognized correctly as soon as you open the app.

Stories now feel more varied and unpredictable. We improved how Chiqui opens each story so your child gets a fresh experience every time, not the same structure night after night.

The illustrated postcard after each story is now truly unique to that story. The characters, animals, and scenes in the illustration now come directly from what happened in the story your child just heard.

Thank you for being part of Chiqui's early journey!

### 1.0.3 — 2026-05-19

A few important fixes in this update.

We resolved an issue where subscribers were still seeing the upgrade screen after purchasing Chiqui Plus. Your subscription is now recognized correctly as soon as you open the app.

The illustrated postcard that appears after each bedtime story is back and better than ever. Each story now ends with a warm, child-friendly illustration your little one will love.

Thank you for your patience and for being part of Chiqui's early journey!

### 1.0.2 — 2026-05-18

A few more improvements in this update.

The illustrated postcard that appears after each bedtime story is now working again. Each story ends with a unique illustrated card your child can keep.

We also improved how the app handles sign-in, subscription status, and the upgrade flow based on feedback from our first users.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-15

Here's what we improved in this update.

Sign in with Apple on iPhone is now more reliable. We fixed an issue that occasionally caused authentication to fail after Face ID.

The subscription flow got a big improvement too. After a successful purchase, the app now closes the upgrade screen immediately and updates your account to Chiqui Plus right away, so there's no confusion about whether your payment went through.

We also gave the upgrade screen a visual polish and fixed a layout issue that caused it to display incorrectly on some devices.

Finally, we extended the time allowed for the App Store purchase sheet to load, which should eliminate the occasional timeout error some users were seeing.
