And they do eventually get changed most of the time. I have a major issue with questions that have incorrect answers, or explanations that don’t offer any insight. The format and usability is great, but you can’t have a standardized test prep app that is 20% incorrect. They have a feature to offer question improvement, but after sending countless requests, it appears no questions have been changed. I was recommended this app in order to begin preparing for boards part one, so I decided to try it out. I love the aspect of not having to decide where to start and all of the practice questions. Waste of money ### 1/5 — Not load *2026-02-21, version 10.6* Multiple times have I tried to load the app and none of the questions load. And there’s really no way of reaching them and when you do. You don’t ever hear back. All while you are paying for a subscription that I can’t even use. ### 1/5 — Not Good Since Update *2025-12-02, version 10.6* I used this app for part 1 and it was awesome. I began using it for part 2 and they updated it in the middle of my studying. It got more expensive and it didn’t work. I got my subscription restored once via email but never could again after I paid $60 for the quarter. I cancelled my subscription and requested a refund with Apple. I hate it because this truly was a great resource for me for part 1. I just feel that if it’s not broken, don’t fix it and it wasn’t before. They tried to make it new and shiny and as a result it doesn’t work right. I went elsewhere for practice questions because I could no longer rely on this app. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE *2025-05-27, version 9.1.2* YOU WILL FAIL! Unfortunately the only real way to pass boards is with irenegold review since they have a partnership with nbce and is exactly what comes in the test, she is extremely greedy with her prices but you will pass. ### 1/5 — Don’t count on this app to pass boards. *2021-02-13, version 4.5.4* There are wrong answers in every quiz in every section of part 1 and 2. Spelling and grammatical errors make some of the questions incomprehensible. You will spend more time looking up answers that you think are correct but the app has them marked incorrectly. The fact this developer charges a monthly fee for this is mind boggling. It’s things like this that continue to perpetuate the idea Chiropractic is the laughing stock of physical medicine. DO BETTER CBR. If I could give this app a zero I would. Use Irene Gold or NBS ### 1/5 — Cost is a bit extreme *2020-10-05, version 4.3.01* The fact that this costs $400 for a year subscription is ridiculous ### 1/5 — Paid for it once and now they want me to pay even more *2020-01-20, version 4.2.28* I paid 9.99 for this app previously, and now I find out that I can’t access anything without subscribing to a 9.99/month fee. This is absolutely absurd. If they wish to change their billing system, then it should not retroactively apply to those that paid for it previously. I refuse to give them any more of my money, and recommend to all others to just use the NBCE red book, Irene gold, or life book to get the info you need. Especially considering many questions weren’t even correct in the first place. ### 1/5 — Not worth the money *2020-01-12, version 4.2.28* They charge you $10 to download the app and then another $10 after your three day trial is up. For $20 you would think the app wouldn’t crash when you go to report another of their questions is keyed incorrectly also that the interface would be better than it is. On the first three tests, I tried to report a dozen incorrect questions but was only able to report three when I used the app on iPhone (instead of iPad which is my main place of study). How do I get a refund? ### 1/5 — SCAM *2020-01-09* They will charge you $9.99 to download the app for 3 days free, and then charge you another $9.99 monthly. Not to mention they just now added these new terms when I downloaded the app two days ago!! What a scam. Unless they change this policy, do NOT download this app 😡 Update: I purchased this app on Dec 30, 2019 for $9.99. On Jan 2, 2020 there was an automatic app update that then asked me to agree to a $9.99 MONTHLY charge. It only makes logical sense that I would have access for at least one month after paying $9.99. But instead I paid $9.99 for 3 days of access and now I can’t access the questions until I pay another $9.99? Ridiculous. It is absurd and for you to say that I did not even USED the app and that this is based on emotion. I absolutely did use the app, as did many of my classmates that are being scammed by this sudden policy change. You would know that if you read the email that I sent to you on Jan 4th before I posted this horrible review. My entire class is furious about this update two weeks before we take board exams and many of us have sent emails that are STILL not responded to. Your service is disappointing and your response to this review is insulting. What a shame. The only explanation for this sudden price change is greed. You are taking advantage of students just weeks before they take a very stressful board exam and I hope that you get many more horrible reviews and cancelled subscriptions. **Developer response:** Nj902, thanks for reviewing our app. There is no contract. It offers partial and invalid information. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous *2020-01-08, version 4.2.28* I find it very frustrating that I recently bought the app which cost me $9.99 a few weeks ago to get ready for boards on January 18th and now with their new update I have to pay $10/month to access this? Why wasn’t I warned about that prior to buying the app. Also, the timing is very convenient for you guys to release the update (meaning you need a subscription) right before boards. The questions are organized really well, the explanations help you actually understand the concepts instead of just memorizing answers, and it feels very similar to the style of questions you see on board exams. What I like most is how convenient it is to study anywhere without carrying around a bunch of notes or books. It’s been great for quick review sessions between classes and for focusing on weaker topics.
