This is a great and inexpensive competitor to Audible. Chirp’s app works reliably. The audio quality is top notch. And the library available is, though not ALL encompassing, quite extensive. I just wish there was a “do not suggest” label for some of those authors I abhor.

I absolutely love Chirp! Inexpensive books, FREE books! This latest update is frustrating tho. The app lags for 30 seconds or so and freezes up. There is also no way to sort books by “in progress”, which I use a LOT. Please bring back this feature. I also dislike not having bookmarks available from the playing page. It’s counterintuitive to go back to the main page in order to access the bookmarks.
