## What is Chitin?

Snap a bug and find out what it is.

Take a photo or pick one from your library. Chitin studies the body shape and markings, then names the insect or spider with a clear confidence score.

WHAT YOU GET
• The common name and the Latin name
• A confidence score you can read at a glance
• The closest matches side by side when a photo fits a few species
• The clues Chitin spotted, and what a second photo should show
• A safety note for things that sting or bite, like wasps or ticks
• Look-alikes that are easy to mix up
• Every find saved, with search, notes and favorites
• A share card for the group chat

Found something on the porch or a hike? Kids asking what that beetle is? Take a photo.
