And I currently have 200,000 points. What I’ve found is that Prices are decent. Points are good. The biggest issue is that depending where you go, even as a Diamond member, management is harder to get the complimentary upgrades. I’ve fought w over 50 hotels about it. That’s not choice. It’s management but I rarely have that issue with Wyndham. It’s my 2nd option. 1st: Wyndham. Then IGH. The hotel was under construction, so we had no access to the pool or the store, and at one point, the elevator got stuck with us inside. The power kept going out, causing the elevator to stop again, which forced us to take the stairs. They placed everyone on the fourth floor in small rooms that looked nothing like the pictures we had seen. We had to keep going to the lady at the side door for ice because there was no ice machine available. The hotel had so many hazards that it should not have been operating. I couldn't get a refund, so I felt stuck with my reservation. The women working there were nice, but one of the men was quite rude. When we requested more toilet paper and new towels after only having two rolls for a four-day stay, he became upset and asked when we were leaving. Additionally, the gym was only open for one day before it was shut down. I have stayed in some terrible hotels and this time was the worst! I can’t believe this company will represent some of these terrible hotels! Then I didn’t realize I had booked through a third party app. When I tried to correct it and book with my choice the third party app was charging me $100 for cancelling. So I called my choice to try and fix this and get my points for my 8 night stay! They refused!!!! Well between my awful hotel stay and the terrible customer service I just received they have lost a loyal member unless they make this right! But they won’t They represent a chain of hotels that is far below standards for a guest. Pay the extra money everyone and stay with bestwestern or Hilton rewards. It list when and where, but not what kind of room you booked. For that detail you need to refer to the email with the reservation confirmation. This is certainly an oversight of the app. ### 1/5 — Never Works *2026-04-22, version 5.34.0* This is quite possibly the worst app on the market. There’s always errors and it’s impossible to sign in. Can’t reset anything because it says ERROR, CANT CONNECT, BLAH BLAH. Choice is losing a decent amount of money because I can’t book anything. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Missing points and stays *2026-08-24, version 6.7.0* Every since the first of the year it’s been nothing but a hassle I have to call them to get my points I am a titanium member I stay in hotels every week for work and I have to call them every time to get my points and I am losing bonus points as well I have tried getting this fixed multiple times and they still haven’t fixed it ### 1/5 — Bad! *2026-08-03, version 6.5.0* Used to use the app to log in and book my hotel for business trips, but as of the beginning of this year, it doesn't work. Can't log in, just goes back to the login screen. Can't even log into the website from a browser. It just tells me an error occurred. Customer service or app IT don't have a clue. After 6 months of trying to get the issue fixed, I gave up. For the last 4+ years I’ve been able to view my past stays and forward my invoices to my company. After this last update NONE of my past stays are shown, and my stays since the update don’t show up either. I travel for my job, and pretty much live in the choice chain. This needs to be fixed asap ### 1/5 — Extra Charges *2026-08-01, version 6.5.0* Travel for work 150+days a year - unfortunately had to stay in a nowhere town. Unable to modify my stay on the app - I spoke with front desk staff for 3 days in a row requesting to checkout a day early. All of the staff looked at me like I was trying to rob a bank and they had no idea how to modify a reservation ? I was charged for the night I did not occupy the room, will never stay with comfort again. So we rented a second night much later in the week the day before we needed to arrive much smaller room, but if that was all that was available.
