Not the best in the 'choices' library but still very good. I had so much fun playing it. I've played other choice of games games before but this one blows them out of the park. I mean I finally got to become a martial arts master. If you like Dragon Ball Z or Naruto this is the game for you no question (more fun when you try to role play what they would do) The game has some hard choices and by the end I found my character had changed and developed, even though I was role playing, and I had a different motive. It was short, poorly written and lacking in action, romantic interests, and any real choice in the game. Usually i like how the choice of games are written but this one was not worth the money. The others are fun, but this...I'm so ashamed of these guys; they didn't drop the ball, they spiked it into the ground. ### 1/5 — Reconsider the rating *2013-06-25, version 1.0.1* This game is rated 9+ for violence, but it has at least one sex scene in it as well. I stopped playing at that point. Nothing was "depicted," so to speak, but there was arousing innuendo and pillow talk. Definitely too sexual for the assigned rating. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2013-04-14* Until COGs releases new parts to their pre-existing games that claim that new parts will be released soon though in fact it has been at least 3 years since they continued their original games, although they have released several new ones by then! This is extremely disappointing! I have been waiting around for a second part of choice of the vampire for more than 3 years now! I will continue to award them abysmal ratings until they can get it together! ### 2/5 — Error *2016-02-10, version 1.2.0* Chapter 1 has been great however due to an "Missing #" error part way through chapter 2 the rest of the game cannot be played. Please fix this, thank you. ### 3/5 — What!!! *2017-05-20, version 1.3.0* Was good until end, in not sure why I didnt get picked for the dragon sage thing. I was basically a legend, won every battle that happened and was all about enlightenment the whole game. Then some random young punk gets chosen for the sage thing??? Just feels like I wasted my time playing it, not a recomend based on the ending, I don't even feel like I want to play it again like the other ones to get a different ending. ### 3/5 — Gay option? *2015-04-16, version 1.1.0* I like this game, like most other games they make. I only buy the ones with a gay option and was happy to download this one as week. I just have one problem, the gay option is not really there every time you play, if you chose a male partner there father almost always gets upset with me and forded me to chose a girl as my "company". It might just be the choices I make but I have tried this game five different times and never got the. "Gay" option ### 3/5 — Good game *2015-03-29, version 1.1.0* I bought this recently because I own every single cog and this was the only one left. It is a good story and well written, however I don't think your choices impact the game at all. I did three Playthru's and the differences warm minor. This is one of my favorites. Although not as long as some of the others, this "choose your own adventure" game has great replay value. The decisions feel weighty, the stakes high, the goals lofty. The ending, while a great stopping point, also sets the stage for a fun and ambitious sequel.
