### 5/5 — Great Game!

*2014-01-17*

I just finished the first play. Great ending and I am excited to find the other ones. It's comedic and adventurous. The plot line is pretty interesting. One of the best ones I've played.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2013-11-26*

This is defiantly one of the best apps I've ever used. I've just finished my first adventure and I am going to play more ways through the story. I am defiantly going to be playing more choice of apps.

### 5/5 — One of CoG's Best (possibly even THE best)

*2013-11-15*

This is probably my favorite CoG game; it's tied with Way Walkers for my favorite IF associated with the label. The narration is consistently funny, and the characters are pretty well-written (though the one who really shines is Lloyd, without whom the game would be much less amusing). It's just a shame that the plot wasn't left open for a sequel...

### 5/5 — Thoroughly impressed.

*2013-09-25, version 1.0.2*

Super awesome game. Absolutely became enthralled.

### 5/5 — Cog

*2013-07-14*

Very enjoyable and well written. I liked Lloyd. Lets hope for a sequel.

### 5/5 — Awesome game

*2013-04-14*

I love it. The game is chock full of surprises you never would think of and much more. Wish your character would marry- male should marry Doctor Loraine or someone, female would marry Salazar.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2013-04-04, version 1.0.2*

Amazing story line, love the interactive component, and enjoy the humor.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2013-03-11*

So I've bought almost all of these games (or all the ones I want) from this company and I think they need to lower their price on all their games to 1.99$ because people just dont want to pay 3$ or 4$ for a game that's just not that popular even if I love this game I they lowers their price they would get way more buyers

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2013-02-14*

This is probably one of the best ChoiceOfGames I've played!! I was completely enthralled, and every decision had me worrying like I was actually there! And Lloyd is a sweetheart! I would totally buy a sequel.
Get this game!

### 5/5 — Funny

*2013-02-09*

A good game for a blind person with siphoned . The only problem was the way it kept shutting down during the 2 fingered read command. It was also disappointing that you didn't get the option to punch the guy who drugged you or even puke on him at the hospital.

### 5/5 — Fun!

*2013-02-02, version 1.0.2*

The writing is clever and funny with lots of possible endings. The plot was interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed it

### 5/5 — Great!

*2013-01-22*

I first played this on the Choice of Games website and I HAD to keep going after the first few chapters. :) This is an amazing game, it's definitely a favorite.

### 5/5 — Good game

*2013-01-09, version 1.0.2*

This is the best game I have it is a very good game.

### 5/5 — One of COG's best

*2012-12-24*

I am a huge fan of cog, and this novel is why. This novel is one of their best and its the reason I but their games. I must say however that my favorite IF is choice of zombies. All their games are funny. This one had the best humor yet! I love Lloyd the computer and arguing with him is fun. The story is engaging and complicated enough to confuse you. This makes the choices feel great because you aren't sure which is right. Buy it now!

### 5/5 — Impressive !

*2012-12-13*

Was not expecting much and I was blown away. Highly recommended !

### 5/5 — YAY!

*2012-12-06*

I have always loved space and starships and now I get a chance to be a captain of my version own starship. I highly recommend trying out all the various ways of playing, my first round I ended up finding a fun ending from being obstinate! Just reminds me of the many Chose Your Own Adventure books but with way more interesting stories. Dorian has down a great job of writing.

### 1/5 — Great if I didn't have to pay twice

*2017-10-09, version 1.2.0*

It's a great game but you are only getting 1 star because I already bought this game a few years ago and now for some reason I had to buy it again (meaning it cost me a total of $13 instead of $6.50)

I want my money back for this purchase!!!

### 1/5 — Messed up

*2012-10-14, version 1.0.1*

I would greatly enjoy this app, but the pages are messed up in a way that I cannot press the "next" button and even advance past the second page. Complete waste of my three dollars. I will continue ranting if there is no fix or refund.

### 2/5 — Fun but...

*2012-10-19*

Dont get me wrong, this was a fun game. The story was interesting and it was well written, but the choices didnt seem to matter that often, the char stats almost never changed and i was able to get the optimum ended on only my second try. Also it seemed very linear.
Not up to par for choice of games and not worth the price

### 3/5 — MEH

*2014-05-19*

This one didn't really do it for me story-wise. Sci if is my favorite genre of fiction but this story was written pretty amateurishly (is that a word?) and many of the choices I had to make didn't include what I actually wanted to do. Oh well, it's only a couple bucks and it kept me playing to the end, if just to get it finished, so 3 stars anyway.

### 3/5 — Mehh

*2012-10-10*

Not bad but the choice of games are better

### 3/5 — Love these

*2012-09-30*

Love all these choice novel games. One problem though, is that text is cutoff from far right and unable to make text shrink enough to choose Storyline branch option. Not sure if its a iOS 6 problem or my IPAD 2.

### 4/5 — One of the better COGs. Not greatest.

*2014-01-20*

A little on the easy side and too forgiving. I made it to the end with a high "score". Only 2 times I had to really think "oh s&@t what to do"; you know nervous. If you want a EZ none threatening cog adventure this is it. I still rate it high because I'm a fan the sci-fi subject matter. And I did enjoy my time with it.

### 4/5 — One of the best

*2013-06-27*

This game was one of Choice of Games's better ones. It begins with adventure and comedy, and ends with adventure, mystery, and comedy. All of these elements are meshed together very well, making an all-around excellent game.

That being said,

The game's plot was rather predictable. Your character is selected for a special reason, the twist at the end I saw coming from the beginning of the game - typical stuff, stereotypes which I thought this game could have been much better off without.
Also, the number of choices which you can make are limited, which makes one feel as if his options are dictated.
But aside from these issues, the game had a plethora of comedy, which - let's face it - makes all games that much better.
In the end, you did have enough flexibility in the game to make it worth playing, and enough fun to make it worth buying. I would recommend buying this app.

### 4/5 — Excellent!

*2012-10-19, version 1.0.1*

Very good game. Not my favourite of the CoG games but still very good.

### 5/5 — Great

*2017-07-30, version 1.1.1*

Great Story will remember this one for a while.

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — An unexpected pleasure

*2016-05-25*

This is a fun romp with a subtle level of divergent humor. It feels like an E.E. Doc Smith adventure, with some Harry Harrelson icing. It is hard to predict just what the result of different choices are, but each leads to a smile or a chuckle.

### 5/5 — Both funny and deep

*2016-04-10*

This has become my favorite light-hearted and fun Choice of Games game. The story never takes itself too seriously, but still manages to pack in a lot of moral ambiguity. Plus, Lloyd may be one of the most funnest characters I've seen in an interactive fiction. It's snarky, funny, and your relationship can actually make a difference to the story.

On the downside, everything before the ending has no real replayability. I wish there was a save point at the last chapter, since that's where the plot really starts to diverge.

### 5/5 — Choiceofgames are great.

*2015-03-26*

This title was amazing. The plot was interesting, the situations were compelling, and the twists were all interesting to explore. I recommend this highly to anyone who likes text-based adventures. This title is just zany enough, and it doesn't take itself so seriously as some others.
Five stars all the way!

### 5/5 — Textadventure!

*2015-03-25*

And a really good one too! I love the story, the characters and different outcomes of your choices. Please make more Sci-Fi based adventures, maybe in a cyberpunk, bladerunner setting?! 😉

### 5/5 — I love the devs

*2015-03-05, version 1.1.0*

I am so humbled by this game/story. If There is any reason not to read/play this app I would like to hear it. I love these apps keep at it devs. Please, please keep at it

### 5/5 — Stand out!

*2014-10-25, version 1.0.2*

This choice game was a stand out! Awesome options to choose - really made me think. It also had great humour too. Brilliant!

### 5/5 — great

*2014-09-26*

this is a great choice of game it's really fun with good characters gotta love LIoyd

### 5/5 — Oh my

*2014-06-10*

Hands down one of the best stories I have ever read/participated in. It was really exciting and really awesome and I loved the ending and just woooow. Well worth the money. If you're like me and you're doubting if it's worth it, it is. Just trust me. It is. Plus theres a bunch of pop culture references, its just great.

### 5/5 — I love being a ship commander

*2014-05-20*

This book was so good I played it several times to get different endings.
