This is the Lite version of the award-winning Choiceworks app. It provides free, limited access to preview the core features of Choiceworks, and when you are ready, you can upgrade to Choiceworks Full using a one-time in-app purchase.

With the Lite version, you can create one schedule with up to five tasks and access the sample boards for all board types.

The Choiceworks app is an essential learning tool that helps children complete daily routines (morning, day, & night), understand & manage feelings, and improve waiting skills (taking turns and not interrupting). Schedule Board
The Schedule Board makes task completion easier and more fun! The schedule is paired with an ‘all done’ column to check off steps toward a motivating reward. Timers can be added to any task or activity. The schedules are easy to edit and fully customizable. Once you have created a schedule, it will be saved automatically.

Waiting Board
The Waiting Board teaches waiting skills like taking turns and not interrupting. The user can begin by reading the companion book, When Do I Have to Wait? Using the waiting board, the top picture indicates why the child is waiting, and a timer can be set to show how long the child will wait. The child can then choose an activity to do while waiting.

Feelings Board
The Feelings Board provides a tool for helping children understand and express emotions. The user can begin by reading the companion book, When I Get Upset, to provide an example of how the child might recognize an emotion and choose a coping strategy. On the Feelings Board, the user can then help the child indicate how they are feeling from a range of options, select a coping strategy, and then request an activity to help them feel better or re-engage with others.

Feelings Scale
Helps users identify, manage and cope with feelings across environments throughout the day. By tracking their feelings on the board, users can analyze the data for trends to learn if tasks done at different times of day or in other environments affect outcomes. Environments and schedules can then be altered to achieve better results.

I downloaded this app I don’t know the price and it took money off my card and now I can’t even open the app without paying more money for an upgrade . What a rip off

I’m sorry this was frustrating. Choiceworks Lite does not automatically upgrade — the full version is a separate purchase. If you were charged unexpectedly, Apple handles all billing directly, and you can request a refund through your App Store receipt.

This is a great way to trial choiceworks app. In fact, you don’t even need to buy the full app. You can get by using the light version which I think is great however, if you want to add more customization and have full use of the app, you just need to purchase it once! No subscriptions.

It helps me make sure I now I did something because sometimes I doubt that I did something and this I can check it off. I can make things that aren’t on it, but you can make your own things that you do daily.

The price for this app is really steep, but it is the only one I’ve found that is anything close to the digital version of true routine/choiceboard system. I am proud to give my money for it despite the price because this is an extremely high quality educational tool that doesn’t exist elsewhere. I did all the free trials of the other similar apps upon searching and none of them come close. The visuals are a little clunky, but all the ones with beautiful aesthetics are all glorified calendars/to do lists. The other apps are not inventing anything new, just making it pretty. If a calendar schedule worked for my PDA kids, I would already be using one. They’re everywhere. If you need something that is truly for demonstrating, modeling, and customizing routines and behavior algorithms, this is the one.

This app is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to set up personalized schedules for my child.
