### 5/5 — Baritone Ukulele

*2019-09-02*

There aren’t a lot of apps for baritone ukulele. Thanks guys.

### 5/5 — Simple to use

*2019-03-11*

I tried a lot of uke apps, but this is the one I keep going back to, because it’s straightforward. Just move the indicators to the chord you want, and you see it, with numbers for the finger positions. The only thing I would add would be an ‘alt’ button to show alternative fingering.

### 5/5 — Simple and perfect

*2019-01-14*

Great to learn ukulele chords. Just wish I could mute the strings right after I strum. The sounds have too long of a decay. Would be great if it muted by pressing with two fingers!

### 5/5 — Excellent tool for beginners

*2019-01-08, version 1.0.1*

All the chords you could ever need for free and if you strum the strings on the app it even plays the chord so you can check it.
Excellent.

### 5/5 — Thanks for a great app!

So easy to use!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2018-11-27, version 1.0.1*

I am a beginner and found this app so helpful !

### 4/5 — Excellent!!

*2018-08-30, version 1.0.1*

This app is amazing, an absolute lifesaver, especially as someone who plays baritone uke. It has pretty much every chord I could ask for.

I have 2 suggestions: one being maybe showing alternate ways of playing chords, the other being that it would be amazing if there was a chord namer (input the fingers and the app tells you what the chord is).

Amazing app. The other baritone chord app I have gives you limited access to chords, then having to pay for some.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-05-06*

Looking for a good app that had ukulele chords for free and in an accessible way, this app met my expectations and beyond. Highly recommend.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just wrong

*2022-12-16*

Several of the chords have the wrong fingering for baritone uke.

### 1/5 — Annoying pop up design

*2020-01-05*

Stop.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2020-01-03, version 1.0.3*

Couldn’t get it to work

### 3/5 — Easy to use, Has Baritone chords!

*2019-11-01*

I like the app. Simple to use, and supports all ukuleles. The one (big!) thing missing is alternate chord voicings. This app only shows first position chords, which is a bit limiting for non-beginners. For this reason I use two different chord programs. Hopefully the devs will update this app to include additional chords (barre chords!) so we can just rely on this app.

### 4/5 — Great app, but room for improvement

*2026-04-23*

I love the interface. Simple and effective. You can also play different voicing of chords up to the 7th fret. I just wish you can play BEYONd the 7th fret. Other than that great app!

### 4/5 — Fantastic!! But...

*2021-04-21, version 1.0.4*

Hi there! I think this app is extremely useful and simple to use and I love the ability to just make a simple purchase and get the ads to go away. Take my money!

I don’t know if this has been suggested but I think it would be fantastic to see different chord voicings or the chord in different octaves higher up the neck. It would also be really cool to turn on a mode that lets you see which note plucked is which note, so you’re not counting up the scale from what the string is when open. It would really help with making some unique chords as I see some piano apps let you do this and it’s quite fun!
Please continue to build and support this app because I think it’s a real gem! Cheers!

### 4/5 — Exactly as advertised, but no more

*2020-08-05, version 1.0.4*

It's a quick and handy guide to ukulele chords, and as a lefty I appreciate the left-handed option.

Here's a couple of additional features I'd like to see:

1. Alternate chord voicings. For any given chord, only the most common voicing is shown. Sometimes an alternative is easier to get to, depending on the progression. Along the same lines, alternate fingerings, such as Emin with fingers 2, 3, 4 (easier to get to from Gmaj). I've no idea how the UI would look for this.

2. Scales, labelled as either notes or intervals. I'd pay for this as an in-app purchase.

### 4/5 — It is basic but only shows chords in the 1st 4 frets

*2019-07-15*

If you want to play jazz or bossanova, this is not that helpful. Good for beginners though.

### 4/5 — Brilliant

*2019-05-11, version 1.0.1*

As a beginner at ukulele I have found this app extremely useful however I think that it would be even better if it had a function to show alternative ways to play the chord and a function where you put dots on the positions of the fingers and it shows you what chord it is (if that makes any sense)
Overall a smashing app that is great for anyone who plays (or wants to play) ukulele

### 4/5 — Uke chords

*2018-10-19, version 1.0.1*

Great chord library and easy to use.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — This app is GREAT!!!

*2023-08-19*

Wow! Thank you for making a simple, straightforward app!

It is soooooo gooooood! Seriously! This app has a TRUE chord library, because it includes the Baritone chord library! Believe me, this is uncommon, and if you only play the standard ukuleles, you may not have noticed this, but it’s absolutely necessary for baritone players!!!

App creators… God Bless you for this! You are helping people!

### 5/5 — A Lefty’s Dream!

*2023-06-04*

I just couldn’t get my hands to play right-handed. After restringing my uke for left-handed use, I discovered how much harder it was to find chords, or to try to work them out on my own. It looked like a fun, fairly easy instrument. But it became work, so I put it away.

Then I saw this app, and I was learning chords right away! This is a big deal for me! I used to play classical piano, and music is a big part of my life. But the piano is a physical instrument, and my health doesn’t let me play much anymore. But the ukulele is something I can do, and get the mental and emotional lift that I used to get from playing the piano. Thank you so much for this awesome app.

### 5/5 — Wonderful

*2021-03-24*

This app is exactly what I needed. It’s simple and straightforward. Being able to easily see and strum all the chord variants in the app is awesome. Thank you!! This is going to make writing music so much easier.

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2021-03-05, version 1.0.4*

Includes chords and more obvious chord shapes that another app I use doesn’t.

Suggestion: make the left (key) menu on the main screen loop so you can spin either way to get to a different key.

### 5/5 — very good!

*2021-01-05, version 1.0.4*

I like how straightforward and easy it is to dial in the chords, and the sound is good enough to give you a sense of the sound. The app works well without any issues. I rely on it for quick chord reminders, and to compare possible substitute chords.

A nice addition/upgrade would be to have variations on the individual chords be available.

### 5/5 — Lefties

*2020-04-29*

Happy to see an app that has left handed cords!

### 5/5 — Julio

*2020-03-09*

Gracias me gusta

### 5/5 — VolUk

*2020-01-05*

Great app. Was able to master Mele Kalikimaka in one day with this chord wizard

### 5/5 — Can strum

*2019-12-22*

You can play individual strings of each chord.

### 5/5 — New to Baritone Ukulele

*2019-12-19*

I am a beginning Bari Uke player and this app has been wonderful! Very easy to use and helps when I am song writing and wish to figure out the best chord. There are not a lot of app written with a Baritone Uke option, this one is aces!
