Zudem hat man schnell einen kleinen Song zusammen und so erste Erfolge. Ich nutze es hauptsächlich um unterwegs oder Abends auf dem Sofa noch ein bisschen mit den Akkorden zu spielen und zu schauen, was gut klingt. Midi dann exportieren. I find the interface super intuitive. The only thing preventing me from getting the full version is the fact that I can’t record vocal ideas over the track idea. It is highly intuitive and has provided me with the best tool for my style of composing to get my work done. This software has been absolutely revolutionary for me. When I had brain surgery about 18 months ago I lost the use of my right arm, so have been unable to play the guitar since. Though I'm starting to play it again now it's a very clunky business. This app has enabled me to shape the music of my songs, hear what I need to hear and fix all the quirks that have to be worked out when composing. I found it easy to work with and very intuitive. As soon as I can it's a lifetime subscription for me. First things first, hate that this app asks questions about me. I do not like being apart of data farming and I just want to use the app that I downloaded. Second, a subscription model? really??? for chords???? that I can google??? Now I understand as a developer wanting to be paid and a subscription model is more consistent income but I downloaded this app because it was free. If you worked hard on the app and you want money from this CHARGE FOR IT UPFRONT. You dont charge upfront because there is 0 value in this app. This app WILL NOT improve your songwriting unless you have no idea how to write music. This app WILL NOT help you play your instrument better. This app plays chords and THATS IT. If you are currently a songwriter or are semi proficient in your instrument of choice this app genuinely will do nothing but slow progress and make it harder to write music without this. This app is not worth $70 when garage band has this same feature in its piano section. Now can I arrange it in gb? No but i can read which chords there are and play them or put them in my daw. If this app was 99¢? f it I would probably have this and use it every now and then when I have beat block but $70? or a subscription? you are out of your mind man. Whether that's useful depends entirely on where you are in your journey, and it sounds like it might not be the right fit for your use case — totally valid. The onboarding questions are there to personalize the experience — no data farming, just context. But I'll take the feedback on making that clearer. That said, it’s possible to export MIDI files, which can also be transferred to Windows machines, so you can still use your work across platforms. ### 1/5 — Interesting app but dishonest trial period billing *2025-03-25* The app has potential, the idea of providing a sketchbook for songwriting is really interesting BUT I subscribed to the 3 day trial and got billed for a full year at the beginning of the 3rd day trial. I cancelled my subscription on the day right after I got billed, sadely. I would like to be reimbursed, to even consider using or recommending the app to fellow musicians. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. The trial for the annual plan lasts three days, and you should only be charged after those three days. There might be offers visible within the app that provide a reduced price for the annual plan, but those offers do not include a free trial. I wish I knew before I was paywalled into using any of the features. After paying for a week to try it out the app straight up broke. I never leave reviews, but I was having truly an awful awful night. The only thing I could think of in the moment was finding an app that can create instrumental so I can sing and channel my hard times through. This app has a beautiful interface, quick loading, super, super super fun chords that make every generation sound very unique, interesting, modern and makes it very fun. The price is pretty good. If I was to leave one recommendation, I would say to add more instrument variations to the generation. Keep up the great work. **Developer response:** Awesome!
