Love the app! As a beginner it has the fundamentals I need and will serve me well as I learn more! Great updates. Would it be possible to add a toggle between “open” and “closed” versions of the chords?

While reorganizing the chords to make them more consistent, I accidentally left out some basic chords like Cm7. I’ll fix this and bring them back in the next update. Basic seventh chords are available again for compact warm-up and reference practice: maj7, m7, 7, 7sus4, mMaj7, plain m7b5, and dim7.
The Home chord picker is now grouped by voicing family: 7, 9/Form, and Drop 2. The expanded chord list stays easier to scan when setting up a practice deck.

Every chord now comes in two voicing forms, A and B, and two spacings, close and Drop 2 — twenty voicings across five qualities: maj9, m9, 13, 7alt, and m7b5. Each one is labelled with its form, so you always know which shape you are drilling.

- The song Chart draws each bar's voicing on a treble staff — whole-note chords with flats and ledger lines — with the chord symbol written above, matching exactly what playback sounds.
- Change key on the fly: a new key menu in the chart transposes the whole song to any of the 12 keys for reading and playback, without altering the saved song.
- The song library now starts with Autumn Leaves (G minor, 32 bars) so you can open a chart right away.
- Voicing fix: the bass root now always sits below the right hand in 13no5 and altered voicings.
- Progression buttons on the home screen are compact single-line buttons, matching the chord grid.

Build and read your own tunes, not just single cards.
- New Chart view for songs: a lead-sheet layout with four bars per line. Tap any bar to hear the chord, or press play to step through the whole song with the sounding bar highlighted.
- Song editing upgrades: tap a chord to edit it in place, duplicate a bar with one tap, and duplicate a whole song to build variants.
- Practice navigation arrows moved next to the card, and the home screen setup is more compact so everything fits on one screen.
- Drop 2 voicings now highlight both left-hand notes on the keyboard.

• Progressions, reimagined — Practice full ii-V-I sequences in major, minor, and Drop 2 voicings, each in two voicing forms (A/B). All three chords now appear on one screen with the keyboards aligned to the same starting key.
• Build your own songs — The new Sequence tab lets you create, name, reorder, and save custom chord sequences, then practice them in order. Your songs are stored right on your device.
• Now with sound — Autoplay plays each chord as it appears, the full chord rings out before the arpeggio, and you can choose from several tones (Warm, Soft, Bright, Organ). Mute anytime with one tap.
• Clearer keyboard — The keyboard now follows each chord and shows more keys on both sides for better context.
• Landscape support and a cleaner two-tab layout (Practice & Sequence).
