### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2011-06-29, version 1.0*

Another awesome app from Easy Ear Training. Well-polished, easy to use and above all great fun!

### 5/5 — Nice

*2011-06-29, version 1.0*

It's saying I got it wrong on a test when I'm sure I was right. Or maybe I just need to spend a bit more time in the training section! :-)

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Too limited

*2016-08-16*

The free version doesn't provide enough material.

### 3/5 — Please update!

*2022-05-04*

Please update the app so in-app settings will work again. It’s been a while now since it stopped working. Does anyone care?

### 3/5 — Missing a few chords, but useful.

*2011-08-12*

Been taking jazz musicianship this summer and this app is handy to get practicing done anywhere, but it is new and missing chords that are being covered in class like: Diminished major 7 ( C Eb Gb B ) and Major 7 b5, ( C E Gb B). I've provided feedback about these missing chords to the publisher, but no Response and no updates. I use it for what it does cover and it is good at that. The only other thing I want is a way in the gearbox function to be able to change the names of the chords to names I am more familiar with like: minor 7 b5 instead of half diminished. As well as Major 7 #5 instead of Augmented Major 7th. Adding the ability to choose how chord symbols appear would also be a handy feature as Jazz is chock full of non-standardized shorthand and semantical differences. Having this app cover all possible jazz names/symbols (like Sibelius does so beautifully) would certainly make it much more attractive to a vast array of musicians from novice to pro. Otherwise, I'd suggest it to our class as a must have.

### 4/5 — Works Well

*2012-05-09*

Pretty good app
Would be nice if the root position chords could have different soprana factors played during tests.

### 4/5 — Excellent

*2011-07-18, version 1.0*

This is worth every cent, just like all of their other ear training apps. Quality sound, simple interface, and most importantly it works. Hurry and do one for scales and modes people...

### 5/5 — Works well

*2016-11-30, version 1.9*

Training mode you can have playing in the background while you do other things.
Great for learning, not just testing. Explanations are also good. Get it.

### 5/5 — Good chord ear training app

*2015-02-02*

We'll organized app

### 5/5 — Very good app for drilling ear training

Especially in the go.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2012-01-20, version 1.0*

Simple and challenging, I've been playing for years and I only wish tools like this where around when I started

### 5/5 — Great work.

*2012-01-03*

I tried this and noticed a user need to have the knowledge of dicerning triad before using this one. So I go back to the triad one which is also a great app. I love this app. Great work!

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2011-12-15*

This app's purpose is to teach you to distinguish between different seventh chords and it does the work better than other apps I tried. The price could be lower though.

### 5/5 — Ideal next step

*2011-06-30, version 1.0*

Was wondering what next after Triad Tutor...I'm glad to have this new app to teach seventh chords. The accompanying notes that are visible as you practice are an added bonus.

### 5/5 — Taking chords to a whole different level!

*2011-06-29*

Having previously used Relative Pitch and Triad Tutor with great success to deepen my knowledge of the basics, I'm now starting to realize quite how much I still have to learn!

As with their previous apps, Seventh Heaven is extremely user friendly and engaging. I particularly like how you have to 'graduate' to the harder lessons by scoring well on the tests, and how you can turn the arpeggios on and off - no way I can do without them yet, but certainly gives something to aim for!

These guys have cracked the code on accessible, effective and enjoyable ear training apps. Hoping there are many more to come.

### 5/5 — Great app!!!

*2011-06-29, version 1.0*

Easy to use and extremely useful.

### 5/5 — Builds on a great franchise

*2011-06-29, version 1.0*

This app has the same great interface and teaching method as previous easy ear training apps and gives you lots of new stuff to learn about.

Great buy.
