## What is chordlist?

chordlist is a personal songbook for musicians who want their lyrics and chords organized, portable, and under their control.

Every song is stored as a readable Markdown file with its title, artist, chord progression, tags, and lyrics. Use chordlist’s own folder or choose a folder in Files, including a cloud-backed folder that you can keep downloaded for offline access.
