I also love getting people started thinking about chords in terms of their meaning, rather than just their letter names - iv7 instead of Fm7 for example. If this app included a simple piano sound as a toggle-able option to create sound, it would be a PERFECT teaching tool for this teacher. Just sayin’. When the app appears to be not working, usually the MIDI information from ChordMapMidi isn't arriving at whichever synth app you have chosen to play.
