Not what I was looking for and definitely not worth $10.  What I would like to see in the future is a way to select the notes on the apps keyboard and it tell me what the name of that chord is.  Sometimes when I’m playing on a keyboard i’ll play a chord that sounds good and would like to know what the name of that chord is for the future.  Maybe you can put that option in for a future update.

The first day you pick up an instrument, this app would get you going. Day two… not so much. I exaggerate … but if you have much experiance at all on an instrument you’ll need more then 1st postion of a chord. It would be a nice improvement to the app… if you developer “Maestros” read these. Far to basic with no other chord voicings available  . 

You select a chord ( Example ; "E Minor” ) …, and you are given that one chord and thats it . 

- I would have liked to seen that "E Minor" (example) displayed in at least 5 different positions on the neck or keyboard at a minimum. 
- I would like to see chord inversions shown also.

Without these features I cannot see myself using this app at all.

- Another dislike was the cheesy sound samples given, especially the guitar sounding really bad like some badly synthesized virtual instrument.

Is it Ok for a beginner ; Not really …., There was also too much randomness with the given single chord selections . On guitar it was a basic open chord , next was mixed barre chords , followed by another open chord ?  …, this would confuse the heck out a beginner.

Hopefully they improve this in Version 1.6 by adding these features to make this more usable.

Its not a bad little app but is no way as good as Nutchord which is only available on the PC and is free! 

The only thing Chord Maestro lacks is a keyboard icon where you can put the notes in and it comes up with the chord you are playing and the same for a fret board for guitar.

can we get a little volume control in the interface… for $7.99 I would think that would be basic & also MIDI play within the APP for practicing I dont wanna open logic everytime I want to practice NO???? Beside that it a good app!

This is a great app, especially if you are a multi-instrumentalist!  It's so easy to use and invaluable if you want to add chord fingering icons to your own song charts!... just drag and drop them into your own song sheets and easily re-size them to fit your format!  Super easy to get to exactly what you need in the app.  I love how the app doesn't dominate the entire screen unless you want it to.  Well thought out with nice crisp images.  Love it!

I’ve been looking for a clean program that would let me quickly drag and drop chord diagrams for Ukulele (and it does it for Piano, Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Mandolin, and Balalaika as well).  Very neat and easy to use.  Perfect for my needs, and I’m only beginning to explore its full powers.

This is an app you have to have. It is essential for every beginner (we all are) and music lover. It is not expensive and it is the best way to learn music and chords. The simplest way to be able to play music. To play by chords is much easier than to play by note and it is also the best option to understand music.
