It’s an app for kids it’s not super kid friendly. I wanted to use this app for my 8 year old who needs help keeping track of things he needed to do. There are daily items that this app works good for, but there are things he only needs to do every Saturday that still shows up daily but has a little note saying “1 time a week”. Update: After reading developers response, I went back into the app and was able to make task show up only on Saturday. I had to choose daily instead of weekly task. For tasks that need to be done specifically on Saturdays, you can actually set this up by going to "Repeat - Interval", selecting "Daily", and then choosing only "Saturday" in the weekday options. I recently deleted because of some glitches. I emailed and they said they were aware. We also wanted to avoid monetary rewards. Other apps were very limited in terms of customization—Family Rewards lets us customize just about anything. I can add chores, habits, goals, etc… for each of my kids, even my husband and I. They can be scheduled for different days and I can customize everything. I love that the kids earn stars that they can use towards fun rewards or privileges. Thank you very much for your feedback and support. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not fair *2026-08-19* I purchase a premium version but after my phone was hack and reset it, my premium version was lost and it didnot comeback after logging back in. ### 1/5 — So much potential *2026-03-18* This would be a great app to help keep the kids chores and promote healthy behaviors but once you bring up the keyboard, say to edit the title of the chore, you can’t save any tasks as the keyboard is permanently opened and hiding the “save” button. ### 1/5 — New IOS makes this unusable *2026-03-17* The keyboard used to have a green button at the bottom when naming a task or behavior. With the new IOS release that green button turned into a return button. So instead of leaving the field and dropping the keyboard the keyboard stays up and bloacks the submit button to complete the task. This makes the app basically unusable. ### 2/5 — Ok, but interface is a mess *2025-10-04* The app is okay but in many respects the UI is a mess. Difficult to find options and adjust them. With a better interface it would be fine. Q ### 2/5 — Great idea needs bug fixes *2025-04-23, version 1.17.8* This app is great for the concept but some functionality is a little complicated but what’s worse is the bugs. If you delete “transactions” the total “points” doesn’t get updated. ### 2/5 — Requires each kids to have a personal device *2025-04-11* Developer, please make an option for kids who share a tablet to easily change profiles. I have been on the hunt for a combined behavior/chore, kid-friendly app for some time. This one came so close, but requires each child to have their own personal device to view their profile. We use a shared tablet for the kids, so to change profiles the app requires us to log out and reconnect the child’s account (enter a 5 digit alphanumeric code, which is not user friendly and will not work for my youngest). The other option is to login and let them use my parent profile, but then they have unlimited access to points/stars/rewards. So impressed with everything else about this app. Really well done. But for now, I’m holding off on the lifetime membership until it includes a kids mode exists that you can toggle between child profiles. **Developer response:** Thank you for your detailed feedback! I literally cannot find an app with a fully implemented custom achievement system. The kids LOVE it. But…. It is so cluttered with a cute, cartoon UI that feels bizarre when mixed with unnecessary calendars, charts, and statistics on every page!! Why do the kids views have heat maps and and 12 different icons on tasks? I think some areas just need the basics, and this app would be PERFECT with some UI customization. It’s too busy! Still an easy 5 stars as all the features are great and we’ve already seen the devs make great improvements and strong community interaction. Hoping we can get the option to pick the our own graphics based on own our kids ages and interests. Thanks and keep up the great work!! ### 5/5 — Blended Family *2025-11-07* There are many of us in our family and our needs are always fluctuating as it continues to grow. This app has made it easy for us moms to create cute fun ways to have “mom time” that we all have to stick to. It has also helped the littles stay on track and become more and more accustomed to setting and achieving daily goals and earning the things the love do that would otherwise take more time to plan as a big family iykyk. My toddler is in homeschool and this app has taught him the independence of checking in and earning points to spend. One of his chores is staying on task in class and the app has helped tremendously because he can see what he is earning , and there is a visual to what he is spending. He gets happy to earn an a little annoyed once his points are spent ! My littlest (2 years old) is obsessed with completing mists tasks as a family and taking the pictures to upload. So easy to use that my 5 years old can login and check off tasks himself as well upload the pictures himself. This is also a really really helpful tool when the kids travel between homes. It keeps a sense of normalcy even in a new or semi familiar environment which has helped soooo much in bridging the communication between both homes as well as help keep attitudes at bay since the kids continue business as usual in both homes. There are other apps like this but this was the cutest , most affordable and most kid friendly version available.
