Love the reward system. Still need to set up the custom reward shop though.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review — we're really glad the reward system is landing with your kids. For getting the reward shop set up, we wrote a short guide that walks through it step by step: https://growtide.app/help/set-up-reward-shop. I like this app!

### 5/5 — The first time

*2026-07-26*

I’m very excited about this app because I see my kids helping each other and excited about it, they are doing this a game and activity. I’m very happy someone really created something base in real life experience. I very recommend.

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to write this. Seeing your kids cheer each other on and treat their jobs like a game is exactly what we hoped GrowTide would spark — and building it around real family life was the whole point. We're grateful for the recommendation, and we're rooting for your crew.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-26

See the week ahead. The Jobs tab has a new Week view showing what each child has on, day by day — chores, time, coins, allowance and screen time — including repeating chores that haven't been created yet.

Also new:
• Search your settings — type to find any one of them
• Kids' job list opens on today, not a wall of tasks
• The job form opens simple; open More options only when you need them
• Set how long a chore takes and see it on the card

Plus fixes to tab labels and trial status.

### 1.3.7 — 2026-08-25

• Fixed: your keyboard could alter the password at Delete Profile, Change Email and Switch User, so a correct password was refused
• Fixed: removing a child from a shared chore now takes one save, and they stay removed
• Rotating chores take proper turns, scheduled from your family's calendar
• Chores waiting for your approval are no longer wiped by the app's own cleanup
• Push notifications work again

### 1.3.6 — 2026-08-14

• Chores set to rotate now take turns across every child — in some families the same child was being skipped every time
• Fixed: once a family had a lot of chores on file, older ones could quietly disappear from the lists, the counts and the leaderboard
• A child's Insights now draw on their full chore history

### 1.3.5 — 2026-08-10

Fixed a bug that made jobs disappear from a child's list. A job due today would vanish once its time of day had passed — a morning chore was gone by lunchtime and didn't come back until the next day, with nothing on screen to say so. Those jobs now appear under Overdue, where they belong.

Focus Mode and "show only today's jobs" also say what they're doing now. A shortened list ends with how many jobs are still waiting, and each setting shows a live count for that child, so three cards over a "Today: 0/12" counter can't quietly mean the rest were hidden.

### 1.3.4 — 2026-08-06

Removing a child, or unlinking their device, now signs that device out straight away. Before, the kid's tablet could keep showing their old chores for days, or sit on a blank loading screen with no way back — it now returns to the link-code screen and says why. Deleting a child from their own screen also works again if you sign in with Google or Apple.
