### 5/5 — My kids ask for MORE chores now

I didn't expect an app to change how my house runs, but here we are. The idea is simple: my kids earn screen time by finishing chores, and their iPads stay locked until they do. That's it. No nagging, no arguing, no "five more minutes."

Before this, I was telling them three times to do anything. Now they do it without being asked, because they want the minutes. My son mows the lawn. Both of them shower on their own without a fight. They actually come to me asking if there are more chores they can do — I never thought I'd type that sentence.

What I like as a parent: I approve the chore before the time unlocks, so "I'm done" actually means done. The screen time is theirs once they earn it, so it feels fair to them, not like a punishment. It works with Apple's own screen time controls, so there's no trick to get around it.

Setup took one evening. If you're tired of being the screen-time police, this is the one that worked for us.
