## What is Chorely?

Chorely turns household chores into a fair, transparent game.

Parents create paid chores, set deadlines and late fines, approve finished work, and settle payout requests. Kids accept chores, pick up open ones from the board, suggest their own, and cash out their balance when they're ready.

• A transparent virtual ledger: every earning, fine, and payout in a shared history
• No real money in the app: actual payment happens between you, in cash or transfer
• Instant sync across all family devices via iCloud — no sign-up, no passwords
• Invite a co-parent and kids with a simple share link
• Full Hebrew & English, dark mode, playful rounded design

Requires an iCloud account for each family member. Kids join with an Apple Family Sharing child account.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.1 — 2026-09-19

This update fixes a bug where a balance could briefly disappear after a payout, fixes profile pictures not always showing up right away, and fixes the Approve button on the parent dashboard sometimes not registering a tap. It also adds dates to your history list, and lets parents give money directly to a kid without creating a chore for it.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-30

Fixed a bug where a chore created with a note could fail to reach your child's device, and then disappear from yours a short while later.

Changes that can't sync now stay put instead of being lost, retry on their own in the background, and are clearly marked until they go through.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-24

Parents can now set a minimum balance a kid must reach before requesting a payout (default ₪50, editable from Manage Family) — handy for keeping small change from turning into a stream of tiny payout requests.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-17

Add details to any chore! Parents can now attach a note or a step-by-step checklist to a chore, so kids know exactly what to do. Checklist chores must be fully checked off before marking done.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-11

What's New:
• Repeating chores: save a chore once (name, pay, optional time limit and late fee) and reuse it anytime, whether you're assigning it or your kid is suggesting it
• Kids can now suggest a chore straight from your saved list, with the price already set
• Approving a kid's suggested chore now pays them right away
• Assigning a chore no longer requires setting a deadline — it's fully optional
• Various reliability improvements to keeping the family in sync
