## What is Chores Tracker?

Nobody's quietly doing more. ChoreDivider splits chores fairly for couples and roommates.
Everyone secretly rates how draining each chore is for them. You get more of what you mind less, and the load still comes out fair.

Most chore apps split housework by count or by turns: one for you, one for me. But ten minutes of dishes is nothing to one person and the worst part of the day for another. ChoreDivider asks the question most apps skip: how draining is this, for you?

HOW IT WORKS
1. Rate. Everyone in your home rates each chore from 1 (barely notice) to 10 (wipes me out). Your numbers stay sealed until everyone has rated, so nobody copies anybody.
2. Split. ChoreDivider works out the split on your device: fairness your way first, total dread as low as possible second. Calculated properly, not a rough rule of thumb.
3. See why. Tap any chore and it tells you why it landed with you: "You rated it 8, Marie rated it 3, she finds it lighter. Your two weeks still come out even."

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Your number counts for you. If you hate ironing, the app tries to keep ironing away from you and gives you something you mind less.
Fair the way you mean it: the same time or the same effort, with your own agreed shares if you like, for example when one of you works full time and the other part time.
A ledger, not a leaderboard. A rolling balance over 14 days shows who's ahead. Old imbalance ages out on its own; nobody carries debt.
Less mental load: the app deals the chores every day and the ledger keeps count, so nobody has to hand out chores or track who did what.
No points, no streaks, no levels. The fair split is the reward.
Whatever the app deals, it explains. "Why me?" has an answer.

BUILT FOR REAL HOMES
Couples, roommates, families. Two people or a full house.
Works with one device. Add your partner, roommates or kids by name, rate on their behalf, and hand over the device so they can check things off as themselves.
Invite anyone with an iPhone or iPad through iCloud. Everything syncs on its own, works offline, catches up later.
On iPad, the Today screen gives everyone their own column.
Chores that happen once, daily, once or several times a week, up to four times a month, or every few days or weeks, on days you pick or days the app picks. Pin a chore to one person if it's always theirs. Swipe a chore to skip it today when you're eating out.
More than one household? Switch between them without leaving any.
Projects: the someday list (clean out the garage, paint the fence) lives apart from chores. Each of you ranks them two at a time, and the rankings merge into one shared queue where nobody's list wins.
A single daily reminder, at the time you last opened the app or one you pick. No nagging notifications, no red badges.
Trends: eight weeks of minutes per person, side by side.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No account, no signing up. Your household lives in your own iCloud, not on a server of ours. No ads, no tracking, no data sold. Anonymous usage statistics can be switched off. Export everything as a file whenever you like.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Free for one person, 5 recurring chores and 5 projects, for as long as you like. With two or more, everything is free for 7 days, then Premium. Premium removes the limits and unlocks all eight weeks of Trends, for the whole household at once: one of you buys, everyone is in.
Monthly or yearly subscription, cancel any time.
Household Pass: buy once, keep it forever.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.12 — 2026-10-13

New:
- Light mode: ChoreDivider now follows your iPhone's light or dark setting. To keep it dark, choose Dark under Household > Advanced > Appearance.
- New households are free for one person, with 5 recurring chores and 5 projects. With two or more, everything is free for 7 days, then Premium. Households that already exist keep their free plan as it is.

Fixed:
- Invite links: a tap now opens the join screen right away. If joining fails, it says why and what to try next.
- In the chore form, titles you used before now sit under their own "Used before" heading, so a suggestion no longer looks like a title that's already filled in.

### 1.1.8 — 2026-10-12

New:
- iPad: ChoreDivider now runs natively on iPad. Today gives everyone their own column, Overview lays the days side by side, and chores and projects open next to the list.
- More rhythms: several days a week, on fixed days or ones the app picks; monthly, up to four times and on the last day too; and several days every few weeks.
- Several households: switch between every household of your account, start another or accept an invite without leaving the one you have open. Premium applies in each of them.
- Delete a project you added by mistake. It won't count as finished.

Fixed:
- Setup now lists every household of your iCloud account, including the ones you started yourself, so none gets lost.
- Changing Fairness or Shares now deals today again.
- Ratings that aren't revealed yet no longer feed into the split, so it can't give a number away.
- Overview no longer marks a chore "taken" when only one person can do it anyway.
- The short introduction on an empty tab (Projects with no project, Weight with no ratings) now shows once, not on every visit.

### 1.1.6 — 2026-10-03

New: ChoreDivider now speaks Italian too. If your iPhone is set to Italian, the app follows on its own.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-09-30

Fixed: The rings on Today no longer stay full for good. Their scale now grows with your household, so rings of the same length really mean the last 14 days came out even - however much you all get done.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-09-28

New: Agree on shares. Not every household splits 50/50 - if one of you works full time, set 70/30 or any split you like. Today, Fair share and Overview all measure against what you agreed. Set it during setup or anytime in Settings under Shares.

Improved: Every entry in your history shows its minutes again, so you can see what past chores took.

Fixed: The "Why you" note no longer appears on chores you took over yourself or that are fixed to one person.
