## What is Chorus Bible Study?

Understand your Bible better — with a companion that explains as you read.

Chorus is a Bible study app for people who want to understand Scripture, not just get through it. Tap any verse and it explains itself: what it means in plain words, the historical context behind it, and the other passages it connects to.

SIX TRADITIONS, ONE TEXT
Most study tools give you one interpretation and never mention that it is one of several. Chorus shows you six on any passage — Coptic Orthodox, Catholic, Reformed, Charismatic, Liberation, and Historical/Contextual — so you can see where traditions agree and exactly where they part. Set your own lens in Preferences and the emphasis follows you, without hiding the others.

ASK ANYTHING, AS YOU READ
The question you would feel awkward asking in a study group, you can ask here. Ask on any verse and get an answer in context, with its reasoning shown so you can check it rather than take it on trust.

A READING PLAN ON ANY TOPIC
Most plans start at Genesis and lose you in Leviticus. Name what you are actually carrying — anxiety, forgiveness, grief, patience, doubt — and get a daily plan built around it. Choose five, ten or twenty minutes a day and the reading is paced to fit.

GUIDED INDUCTIVE STUDY
A three-phase workspace that follows the classic method: Observation, Interpretation, Application. Who, what, when, where, why and how — with your notes saved and synced.

CHAPTER SUMMARIES
Open a chapter and see what it is doing before you read it verse by verse.

BUILT FOR READING
• Parallel translations side by side, including KJV, BSB and the Arabic Van Dyck
• Audio, including background playback
• Highlights, notes and bookmarks
• Full-text search across the Bible
• Light and dark modes made for long reading
• English and Arabic throughout, with right-to-left support

FREE
Reading, verse insights, chapter summaries, theological comparison, reading plans and the study workspace. No trial countdown.

Chorus is for students, pastors and anyone finding their way back to a book they want to understand.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-08

Small things that make reading easier.

• Text size: choose from five sizes, right in your Profile.
• Reminders: set the exact time you want with the time picker.
• Listening: chapter audio starts sooner and keeps playing when your phone is locked.
• Notes: verses with a note are marked in the reader, and tapping one opens your note.
• Share cards show the full reference and no longer come out blank.
• Your AI conversations now save to your account.
• Arabic: better right-to-left layout and clearer lettering across Profile and onboarding.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-28

Meet Chorus — our new name and icon. Same app, same notes and highlights.

• New translations: the Berean Standard Bible (BSB) and the Arabic Van Dyck.
• Scripture is only ever shown from a translation's own published text. If a chapter isn't available in a translation yet, you'll see that plainly.
• Choose your default translation from a searchable picker in Profile.
• The Compare tab is easier to scan, with each tradition collapsed to a few lines.
• Rate and share the app from Profile.

### 1.2.5 — 2026-09-22

A cleaner chapter header. The book you are reading is now the first thing you see, and the Arabic layout no longer overlaps itself.

You can now rate or share the app from your Profile.

Conversational AI, and the usual fixes.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-27

Bug fixes

### 1.2.0 — 2026-04-21
