The app works best with a subscription to PLUS or PRO to open all the features. Ability to mute parts and create your own mix of the song parts is an invaluable tool for my choir. The developers are very helpful in responding to any issues quickly and are continually working on getting better performance out of the app. I use it across my 3 types of choirs and multiple locations. The main issue from a users perspective is loading times on mobile devices - but if your patient and can wait a few seconds for the song to load it well worth giving it a go. Uploading song parts to the ChorusClass app is much quicker than the way we used to do it with multiple mixes of each part in a song - this way you just upload the individual stems from a single mix and bam your song is pushed out to all your user instantaneously. ### 3/5 — Um help? *2019-03-11* I just downloaded this app and it only gives me the ‘log in’ option. There’s no sign up button so I can’t even like create an account. I really wish I could use the app. ### 2/5 — No longer able to add songs to a chorus *2018-07-18, version 2.0.0* Since the upgrade I cannot add songs to a chorus through the app, only to My Songs and then Move and Copy don’t give options for the chorus I am an admin for ### 1/5 — Crashes on iPhone *2018-07-08, version 1.7.7* Can’t use on an iPhone, just crashes when you try and play any song. ### 1/5 — What the? *2017-11-17* I love the idea of this app, but right now it is useless. For some reason it is increasing the speed and pitch of everything I upload, even when I make sure the metronome marking on the app matches the tempo I used to record it. Have deleted and redone upload multiple times. I can't have my choir practice singing everything up a whole step and at a faster tempo than what the music is supposed to be, so the last four hours I have spent recording music, editing it on compute, and then uploading to the app was all wasted. So much for my students being able to practice during vacation like I planned. Will happily change my rating if this error gets fixed. ### 1/5 — Needs work... *2017-10-23* So, I love apps like theses, but i tried to do multiple recordings, and it failed, and crash. Also i feel like some autotune and etc will spice up the app. People love to make music. Love the multiple track idea. Aside from that, it was relatively user friendly. Almost every time you pause or stop it will not play again and it has to be shut down and re opened to restart. Same if you try and forward or reverse to a spot in the song. Sometimes it works most of the time it doesn’t. Even shutting down and reopening doesn't work all the time. Have tried uninstalling and installing again. Unbelievably frustrating. ### 1/5 — Need Help *2021-07-15* I’ve emailed customer support, but I need to know why my subscription isn’t working. I’ve upgraded to Pro and Plus, yet the App is not unlocking my features even though I’ve paid for both. Please contact me. Thank you! ### 1/5 — Why does this app not work with my AirPods? *2020-05-27* I cannot hear playback in my AirPods at all. Why is this? Also this is really too unstable to be charging people. It literally deleted my song and than it takes for ever to Lol and when you press the record button the metronome doesn’t start and worst of all there is no FAQ or help to reach customer service. This is a great start but an extremely under developed app. It needs extreme work and it’s unfair to charge people for this lack of stability. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We've haven't heard of any issues with rehearsing with air pods before. The recording feature requires corded headset to be able to sync the tracks but the rehearsal should work fine. Very limited instructions. This should be easier to start with. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! We are working on getting the tutorials and FAQ up and running on our web page. ### 1/5 — Not Reliable *2019-10-16, version 2.1.11* This app does not appear to be reliable , some days it works and other days it won’t even load! I am paying for something that does not work ### 1/5 — Not Good *2019-05-13* The idea of this app is fantastic! The layout is easy to navigate and it is overall user friendly, and easy to use. However, it is nowhere NEAR compatible with the iPhone X. The “Back” button is located in the top left corner, where it won’t let me select it. If by chance it DOES work, the app will crash. The app also will not let my create new songs, even where there isn’t a single song in the files under “my songs.” Lets also not talk about how the developers try to force premium down our throats by making an ad for it every time you come back to the app, choose a new menu, or open up the app. I would give the app 4 stars, if it actually worked. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! Don’t subscribe! ### 1/5 — Waist of money *2018-07-17* It worked for one week now it no longer works so sad! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — The new version is a big improvement. *2021-11-12, version 3.1.2* Since 2018 my choir THge NHS GGC Choir trialled the old version of this app which worked fairly well, but was buggy and given most of the choir members just wanted something straightforward, it was a rough ride for many, particularly with older devices. But the new version has changed all that. 1) all the tracks in a sing now perfectly sync up 2) PDF’s in A4 format load up easily and a full page can be fully viewed. 3) the sound quality is much better 4) It works on older devices a whole lot better. I wanted a secure app that allowed scores and arrangements to be kept securely. This has been such a great assistance to those especially if you can’t read music, and to practice your part with every other part all together. FAB ! It would be nice if you could have a playback of what you recorded while recording a new file. To me as much as I have updated since I’ve had the app for over a year I have seen little changes.
