No way to order food on here, just shows a blank screen. No way to choose a restaurant, where will the alleged food come from? Maybe it’s a beta app or something but the reviews make it seem like it works. Seems too good to be true, and it is.

I use this service at least 3 times a week. If I go out to eat, food costs at least $15 at most places. Uber Eats or Doordash is at least $25-$30. Chowdown gives the same portion for $10 delivered to my door, and in rapid speed too. Highly recommend.

Something that I find about other delivery apps is that oftentimes you’re paying a LOT more than the listed price and it would be easier to just get takeout directly from the restaurant itself. But as a student, it can be difficult to pay for food and get a flat fee which is something that I really like about this and not having to worry about those additional costs. 
From this, I know exactly what I’m paying for and still get good food and have food delivered quickly which is incredibly important if I don’t have time to get it directly from the restaurant.

The food is great and delivery only took about 20 minutes. I would definitely recommend ChowDown to other students! If you are a sucker for some good Chinese food but hate paying for delivery, get this app.

I ordered pork fried rice and it arrived at my doorstep super fresh and super quickly. It’s often hard to find quality and yummy Chinese food as a college student with limited transportation so I’m glad I found Chow Down.
