My son is 15 years old now, but it still works very well for his age, because the messages are deep. Not only are you listening from the Word of God, but the devotions are well written and insightful. The male voice over for this feature is also appealing. He does a great job of keeping your interest, and the layer of warmth in his voice draws you right in. I find myself thinking about the important message in these daily devotionals long after I listen to it. The stories are great and it was so nice to have quality stories that all the kids could enjoy. There are a variety of stories from very exciting to more calm and some that are Biblical retellings and others are adventure or stories that tell lessons. There is a feedback option where you can provide feedback on the stories and the app which is also great and the creators are great at communication. I love that you can sign up for a free trial before committing and you don’t have to enter cc information for the trial. I also appreciate that you can download the stories to have access when you don’t have service. I rally enjoy the app, myself! I love the daily devotionals so much! And all of the stories. Turn off the TV and have your kids listen to these while they play. ### 5/5 — The safest, most affordable option! *2025-07-14* We have been using WindowSeat for about two months and are so happy with it. We’ve tried a lot of options… some apps have similar values and goals but include streaming tv/movies which we are trying to get away from and are hard to keep the kids off of when it’s in front of them. We’ve tried options with speaker products (storybutton, yoto) and these have been great for their function (screen free device kids can operate with freedom) but pricey and time consuming to curate the content for your children yourself. WindowSeat is perfect. Audio only, always. Beautifully curated catalog that is growing all the time. High quality audiobooks (vs poor narration from librivox etc.) It’s easy to save shows and play from the car or for my kids to Bluetooth from our family iPad to home speaker. We started with Chapel and Squeak and my kids (ages 5-13) all begged for it in the car until we finished it. As a Christian mom I have paid for so many services over the years in order to opt out of today’s entertainment and screen time norms but very few have lasted in our house. WindowSeat is one that I think will stand the test of time. ### 5/5 — Big win adding Christian’s Heroes series! *2025-07-12* Adding the Christian’s Heroes series is topping on the pie! (not a cake eater) The content is amazing and WindowSeat continues to add quality Christian valued context on a regular basis. I bought it mainly for the old Your Story Hour and Bible in Living Sound, but I’m enjoying many many more in the library.
