### 4/5 — Great app!

*2020-05-04, version 2.2.3*

Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t missing the 1689 LBCF

### 4/5 — One small request

*2019-03-11, version 2.1.2*

I use this or the Android version weekly at church. While the addition of Luther’s 95 theses might be a good addition from an historical viewpoint, the 95 Theses are, at heart, a Roman Catholic document, and thus not suitable in an app listing *Reformed* catechisms and creeds. So, I vote against that particular addition. What I *would* like to see is operational offline Scriptural citations. There is no wi-fi where I go to church so if I need to look up a Scripture reference I either have to go on my 4glte phone, which has a much smaller screen, or do without. While we’re on the subject can you add the AV/KJV to the list of available Scripture versions? Thanks.

### 5/5 — Must have for all who want easy access to creeds

*2018-12-22, version 2.1.1*

Favourite features include scriptural references for credal statements (e.g. LBCF 1689)

### 5/5 — Important reference

*2018-10-17, version 2.1.1*

Note V2.x addresses the comment about a version made by the previous reviewer.

### 5/5 — Great *****

*2018-10-07, version 2.1.1*

Thanks for uploading this useful app

### 5/5 — Great stuff

*2018-06-27, version 2.1.1*

Love the app it’s a fantastic resource. I would love to see a visual update with a nice slick layout but maybe I’m just dreaming

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2018-06-05, version 2.1.1*

Use this app almost on a daily basis. So thankful this exists.

### 5/5 — SOLI DEO GLORIA!

*2018-04-12, version 2.1.0*

SOLI DEO GLORIA!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2018-01-19*

I’ve used this app for years. It’s so quick to access and better than googling all your creed and confessions. A+! Semper Reformanda!

### 5/5 — HB214 - Awesome Resource!

*2018-01-01, version 2.1.0*

I really like this app and will use it often just like the daily reading app. Can you also consider uploading “Luther’s 95 Theses” and “Luther’s 5 Solas” with detailed explanations and references for both in your next update too? Thanks!! 👍🏻👍🏻

### 4/5 — Where is the 1689?

*2017-10-08, version 2.0.1*

Please add the 1689 LBCF. This app is a wonderful resource.

### 5/5 — A wonderful and useful app!

*2017-07-05, version 2.0.1*

An excellent resource always at your fingertips to help your know what you say you believe.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No update?

*2023-02-28, version 2.2.3*

I’ve used this app for years and today it’s just blank when I open it. What happened? I can’t report it as a problem with Apple because I didn’t “purchase” anything.

### 2/5 — Argh…

*2021-09-18, version 2.2.3*

This app was nice until the copy/paste feature was removed. Its hard to believe the copyright on a 300+ yr old document is still binding. Sad.

### 2/5 — Once worked great, but

*2019-06-09, version 2.2.1*

This once worked great, then I opened it to find nothing. A series of blank lines. Then I went to Apps store, but no new updates. I searched behind the scenes, and was overjoyed to find a lot of new documents. I downloaded the original content, then added several other documents. I went back to the app and found the new documents, but my original basic set disappeared. Now I can’t get them back and can’t even delete any of the others.

### 2/5 — Review

*2017-10-08, version 2.0.1*

The biggest areas that need to be fixed are to correct the year or the Westminster Confession needs to be the original as this app claims it to be and 2) the inability to pull up verses that look as if they have a hyperlink to them. If it pulled up the verse in a small box while staying on the screen or if the App would open safari or the Bible app and pull the verse which I was trying to look up this would be a five star instead of three.

### 2/5 — Review

*2017-09-22, version 2.0.1*

This is an excellent resource to use, however I am greatly saddened that this App does not interface either the Received Text ( The King James Version.) The App only allows for the use of the ESV, this is truly a great travesty.

### 2/5 — Good concept, but...

*2014-07-04, version 3.4*

This works well and it is a brilliant concept to have all if these Reformed creeds in one handy place, however the text used for the WCF is NOT the 1647 version as written by the Westminster divines, but has some important statements removed. If the full, original text were available I'd give this five stars.

### 2/5 — Useless without LBCF

*2012-08-29, version 1.3.2*

Add LBCF and help your rating.

### 3/5 — It’s okay

*2021-07-25, version 2.2.3*

Having the creeds, confessions, and catechisms all available is excellent. However, the one drawback to this app is the inability to set your own desired translation for the scripture proofs. Everything is set to ESV. A far inferior and ever-changing translation.

### 3/5 — Not working, but used to be great!

*2019-11-02, version 2.2.2*

I can’t seem to get the app to work as well anymore. I keep getting an error “Westminster3 Sorry, the requested resource was not found”. I’m not sure how to fix it.

### 3/5 — Useful app, but search needs help

*2017-10-20, version 2.0.1*

I use this app frequently and find it extremely helpful. However, when I search for "providence," it gives me all the references for Proverbs in the footnotes. That's not at all useful.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Wonderful app!!!

*2024-09-01, version 2.2.3*

This app and ReadingPlan (by the same developer) are outstanding apps that are helping me in my Christian walk to study the scriptures more effectively and to understand doctrine better through the creeds and confessions. I am so thrilled to have these two apps in my toolbox!

### 5/5 — Very helpful app

*2023-07-23, version 2.2.3*

This app allows the user to load many of the crucial Christian confessions onto your device so they are at your finger tips. The confessions are searchable - a great help when you are looking for topics or themes. Any Christian from new believer to ministry worker would find this app useful.

### 5/5 — It’s working!

*2022-07-13, version 2.2.3*

All I did was delete it and reinstall it. It is working on my iPhone. This is THE best app!

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2022-03-27, version 2.2.3*

Thank you James for providing such a useful resource, probably among the most worthwhile reading second to the Word itself, and with very helpful search functionality both within a document and across the library. It’s been a blessing to me and I’m sure others as well. And all these without the need to show advertisements.

### 5/5 — This is the catechism app I point all my friends to

*2021-10-12, version 2.2.3*

This app has great resources. I love that you can add to the list of pre-listed documents. The search feature is excellent. I also love that you can link your favorite Bible app, so you can quickly check the Bible verse references in the footnotes. This is the only creeds and confessions app that I recommend to my friends.

### 5/5 — All in One Place

*2020-09-16, version 2.2.3*

This is app clean and easy to use, and has added tons of confessional literature over time. By default, you can read the most well-known ecumenical creeds, the 3 Forms of Unity, and the Westminster Standards. But you can also add (using “Manage Documents”) much more from the Lutheran, Anglican, and Baptist traditions. There’s a lot here that I’ve never heard of! And it is free.

Many thanks go out to the developer James H. Price, who has clearly listened to his users. If you want to grow in your knowledge of the Bible while staying connected with your historical forbears, this is the perfect app.

### 5/5 — Excellent App....But

*2020-01-16, version 2.2.3*

Will still give it 5 stars. Very good resource. I believe this has helped me a lot daily. I don’t know why the The Baptist Faith and Message 2000 isn't here. Please add it. Notifications for daily reading will be a big help. Lastly, thank you for not having strictly reformed creeds.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2019-12-22, version 2.2.3*

Thank you to the developer- I just read the whole Catechism in a year. Wow- what a document- it is priceless - and rendered so beautifully in this app. I coupled this document with ReadingPlan- another free app from this developer- to make my tracking the daily reading easy. These two apps have enriched my faith immensely. Again, thank you!

### 5/5 — A wonderful & handy reference!!

*2019-08-21, version 2.2.2*

I highly recommend this app!

### 5/5 — Many additional documents are available

*2019-03-16, version 2.2*

Glad to see the recent updates, especially helpful is retaining the current position in all documents.

A tip for those down-voting the app because it’s “missing” some favored document — see Settings, Manage Documents, View Available Documents — it’s probably there.
