That might sound petty, but I'd much prefer the meditations to be voice-only. I listened a lot during my first trimester when I felt so awful, and now in my third trimester, the music just takes me back to those horrible nights and it's just not as calming as it could be. Please consider uploading the audio tracks without any background music! Like lots of apps, they offer a 7 day trial and then a yearly or monthly subscription. I chose the yearly, however I was charged the subscription on day 1 of the trial, not on day 7 or 8. I didn’t like the app so I reached out to support to get a refund and they said they can’t help me. So now I have to go through Apple to get my money back. Some of the 16 tracks aren’t even relatable to my pregnancy. There are approximately 14 recordings. For $8.99 a month subscription! They don’t change. When I clicked on the printable birth scriptures/affirmations it redirected me to an Etsy page to purchase and print them for $2.99. WHAT?! for $8.99 a month you couldn’t include those?! Nope, just the same 14 or so recordings over and over. Then I get a pop up asking me to share my info so they make have more directed ads?! Um, no. The sound quality is tinny. There’s a distracting intro in each recording. “This recording is meant to, blah blah blah. That’s what the titles are for. Anyone who is actually in Hypnobirthing would not say “we are trying to eliminate fear.” Bc then the word fear has entered the conversation. In the affirming scriptures it includes “as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death…”. WHY WOULD YOU INCLUDE THAT AS A BIRTH AFFIRMATION??? I’m disappointed that the App works at times but right before labour it is not working for me now saying everything is locked. It has signed me out or locked me out now a few times, even when I’ve purchased the course and should have access. I’m disappointed because I am wanting to use it FOR labour has well and not be locked out. It has been such a blessing by providing encouraging scripture that I use to prepare my mind as well as play during the labor. It also has breathing exercises and many other wonderful tools.
