I had no matches and never exchanged messages with anyone. One day I found my account had been blocked for ‘activity that may not align with our guidelines.’ When I contacted support, they told me their system had detected ‘inconsistencies’ but would not explain what those were and said there is no appeal process. Every time I login I have to re-save my data collection permissions, it ignores the filters I set, it is slow and there are a lot of abandoned profiles. I’m also not convinced that the app actually shows you anyone who liked your profile or show any one you liked your profile, and at nearly $50/ month to find that out for sure and to see my likes is entirely to expensive. I couldn’t find a way to respond and honestly I was confused so k was looking it up on google. But then I realized I need a subscription to be able to respond; and I feel like I’m ghosting the guy even though I quite literally just can’t talk to him. Personally I find that ludicrous, the reason you go on a dating app is to find people that you have common ground with, talk to them, and maybe get into a relationship. Do I just have to hope that the person I like also likes me? Or do I just have to hope they have a subscription just so we can maybe chat and it ends up not working out anyway? Genuinely how am I going to expect to meet someone when I can’t even answer their question without paying an absurd amount of money? And even then the subscription doesn’t give you much in the first place. Intro messages appear in your chat once you match with that person, so liking his profile back is what opens up the conversation, not a subscription. A free account already lets you like, match, and message anyone you've matched with. ### 2/5 — Low options. *2026-04-22* First, the subscription price is $70 a month! That’s insane. You only have that one option for subscription and they don’t offer discounted “bundles” like the use too. You can have the free membership but can’t see who likes you or message with matches, so the free membership is pointless. I don’t believe it is because they didn’t want to upload. But I think the app has a hard time loading the pictures. ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2026-04-05* I decided to pay for the premium but I will probably cancel when the month is up. I opened up all my filters and still not getting many people in the discover section and basically 0-1 in the recommended when it is suppose to be 10. Feel like I’m paying for something I’m not getting. It will often said me a notification that there is a like but no one is there. Glad I didn’t spend $50 on a monthly membership when this is how they treat new user of their application. I’m already three months into it and have gotten no new updates since I started. There are better dating sites than this app. I repeat turn away. Do not download this app. It is the worst app for dating! I paid six months to be a part of this dating app. I have nothing but regret after signing up. It appears that in my area there are no members who have paid for this app so they’re sending me to outside of the state that is beyond the distance I put in for preference. I continue to get the same recommendations daily. It says it will update but never does. Now I’m waiting out my six months before I delete this app. Update I’m in the last month of my six months. I finally am getting matches. However, I find out that the matches are coming from silver singles, not Christian mingle. Do not use this dating site. After activation I didn’t even have it for 12 hours I created a profile and liked some potential partners, I hadn’t even talked with anyone and they claimed I violated their terms and they deactivated my account. They took my money and did not provide me the service I paid for. I created a truthful profile hoping to not waste anyone’s time, nothing inappropriate, I mentioned I voted for Donald Trump knowing politics is a big issue these days allowing those who have issue pass by and allow me / them to better match with someone with their beliefs. I did not assume a Christian dating app would have an issue with Conservatives but everything I did was as anyone would do setting up a profile. I can only assume that this was the issue because they wouldn’t tell me the reason. I can’t believe this App has TDS. I suggest all Conservatives and Trump supporters try any other app besides this one, sad… SMH… **Developer response:** We're sorry to hear this! If you notice you have a like and view it the pop up alert for the like doesn’t show until hours after it’s been viewed. It's just impossible now. Even with a platinum subscription, I have to browse hundreds of profiles before finding someone from my own church in my area. Do NOT waste your money. It's not even clear how many of these profiles are legacy profiles. Once you like or pass on someone, there's NO way to see those profiles again - you're forced to keep swiping. There's not even an option for premium members to undo an action or see the profiles they've shortlisted. Utter waste of $. The primary issue I encountered was the overwhelming number of scammers and fake profiles ("catfish"). It feels like a significant portion of the user base is not genuine, which makes it extremely difficult to connect with real people. Furthermore, the reporting process for these fraudulent accounts is cumbersome and ineffective. Beyond the safety concerns, I also found the platform’s demographic to be quite narrow, lacking the political and social diversity I was hoping to find in a partner. Between the high volume of bots and the lack of quality matches, I do not believe this service is worth the cost of a premium subscription. Christian Mingle is built around shared Christian faith and values by design, which shapes who's part of the community. ### 1/5 — PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBSCRIBING *2026-07-11* This week I downloaded the Christian Mingle dating app. Everything was going well as far as meeting and talking to some men. About two days in the entire website must have gone down because I could log in. Then yesterday I had been blocked from my account right after sending to someone I was talking to. I have tried to reach out in several ways to get support with no avail. Their contact support button leads to a page saying that their site is currently down for maintenance.. I also tried emailing them to the email address that they offer with no response. I looked them up on Instagram and decided not to try there because they haven’t been active on that page for a couple of years.. And I looked them up on Facebook and the last time they posted on Facebook was this past February. I still sent a message just in case there, but there has been no response. This morning I tried sending a reply back to the original email I had received when I first signed up and I automated email response that they were forwarding that email. I’m hoping they will do so and restore my account. I did pay for a three month membership. However, I am going to go back to Apple, and see if I can get a full refund. As it hasn’t even been a week using this app! This is not just the app. This is also online on their website through a computer. Please be careful, you may want to just move on instead of wasting your money and time! Even wanting to know what church I go to and know the town I live in. For these dating apps, I only see the state that I live in for safety purposes. You never know what intentions people may have. They might say their question, but their intentions say otherwise. Once I had gotten through all of them and there was nothing left I deleted the app shortly after and reinstalled it today. I then got banned while using the app because my login history was “suspicious” the only thing suspicious here is how you think that someone deleting the app after realising there’s no one in the area is suspicious. Three were scammers. Two used stolen photos. One of those two asked me for money. The other I caught in a lie. The third person used AI generated photos so I didn’t even bother talking to him. The fourth seemed like a real person and we arranged to meet but then he just quit talking. This app doesn’t do enough to try to weed out scammers. They could add facial recognition software which compares your face to you photo so at least you know the person setting up the account is the person in the profile photo. They should also require you to allow the app to access your phone’s location and require that location to be used when setting up a profile. These two things would go a long way to eliminating some of the scammers. **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our team reviews every report and will take appropriate action. ### 1/5 — Terrible app and UX *2026-04-07* This was a complete waste of $50! I lost matches I liked and then couldn’t ever get them back. I liked someone in my Recommended list and the also disappeared and I had no idea why. Couldn’t find an explanation in the help guide. Then when trying to figure out what one of the icons meant in Discover tried to exit out of it and it liked someone I’d never like and there was no way to undo that, so I had to just cancel my account after a few days even though I paid. I also didn’t like how you receive a limited list of recommendations and then have to wait 24 hours or more to see another batch. You can’t just search profiles at your own pace, rather you’re served up potential matches in small batches. Then you have to waste time just going through the Discover which is full of people you’d never want to match with based on what you’re looking for. All the people liking me were wait out of my location requirements, too. However, a large number of the profiles, appear to be abandoned, duplicates, or fake. Despite the dozen or so like I received, none of those profiles seem to have come across the discovery feed for me to view. I did send more likes on this app than any other, but again, I have no idea how many of those profiles have been abandoned, or if they’re even seeing my profile.
