Before I had said that using the app is so great! I didn't think it was possible to download an app and see people around you. I think it's good to connect with others and to me this was easy to use. Now that I'm on the new version I want to make note of a few things that I saw that are different than before. The first thing that comes to mind is that the app is definitely faster than it was before. The second thing that I noticed is that there are a lot more people in my area which is really nice to see. I'll keep posting as I'm using it ### 5/5 — It's not my first Christian dating app but it's the most useful *2017-01-18, version 2.2.0* So I've used other Christian dating apps and I want to give people a good review of them so people understand why I am giving Slide 5 stars. When you download other apps like Mingle or Christian dating for free, there is a very commercial feel to the apps. The second thing that I think is most important is quality of people I have talked to - and on Slide, the people are real. Now this may seem funny but on mingle especially, I know that I am talking to a robot half the time. As for the commercial nature of the apps. Basically, when you are on Christian dating for free there is a ton of stuff that the company is trying to sell you in the form of advertisements and half of them are for mingle! And I respect that. However, Slide free for use and I know that I'm talking to real people because I met two of them on the last version. This was my first time engaging in an online dating site... first time using a dating app. Reluctantly I signed up. I was surprised in the best way possible. This app is so easy to use and way more fun than I would have guessed. I love that Slide is a dating app for Christians. My faith is such a big part of who I am. I've been meeting such awesome people, people that I have a lot in common with. I've been telling all my friends in the dating world about it! ### 5/5 — It works. I have Facebook account but once Facebook data transfers over it is impossible to change. I had an error from Facebook that appears on app making it useless for others to match with me because my age listed in Facebook is beyond the scope of this app. I was able to fix on Facebook but no matter what I did it will not fix on the app. I cannot use this app no matter what I tried to fix. I was forced to delete my account and remove this app after wasting my time trying to fix. I don’t care about people’s religion in general, but why is he creating and managing a Christian dating app? Maybe because Jdate was taken... Anyways, I know this because he rudely took my phone during an interview for a designer position to update and design this app and not only downloaded the app but signed me up using my resume information. I already have a girlfriend, and I wouldn’t be as mad if I had gotten the job; but something tells me that I wasn’t the only dummy that he brought in for a fake “interview” to build up users to this time wasting non-functioning app. Seriously go trip over a knife dude. Also why doesn’t my review show? ### 1/5 — Don't waste your time....seriously *2016-07-24, version 2.1.1* This app took so long on my 3G to download every match consideration. It was like flash from zootopia. The design is so old fashion it's impressive it has 64 reviews because very few of them are even true. Oh and the term profile on this app is kind of a loose term. It's like 4 things to know about me and one is the name of my church. Just a waste of time... Mainly while it waits to load between profiles. ### 1/5 — Bunch of fake reviews...just use other apps! *2016-06-03, version 2.1.1* Where do I start? First of all, if you really read all the five star reviews you can see that they basically all sound the same...good job paying for a bunch of fake reviews in the store! The design looks like it was done in 1999. It hurts my eyes to look at it! 😖🙈 Please change it for the love of God. There are barely any users on the app and the profiles that are there, don't seem to be active anyway. I’ve met several great people on ChristianSlide & I love how women make the first move! The app itself is great & I really appreciate how ChristianSlide does its best to keep it a “harassment-free” site, it’s absolutely one of the better ones out there! There are a lot of features for the free version & for the quality of the app there’s more offered than some other apps. Also, I can’t blame human nature or someone else’s poor pickup lines on the app itself. People are unpredictable & it’s not ChristianSlide’s fault what people do or say. ### 5/5 — I’m impressed *2020-10-01, version 2.36* First time trying dating apps or social networking April 2019. Tried Tinder, Bumble and ChristianSlide. ChristianSlide just blows the other two out of the water. Far better especially without the creepy exposed distance location on Tinder, the commenting to entice conversation is great plus showing real last names of matches are all great. Even the option of filtering marijuana users and allowing users to set the preference and hide it publicly is there which can prove useful in avoiding potentially uncomfortable topics. It’s like a video game where you just keep going until a match is made. A match is when both people so happens to say yes to each other’s profile. Women goes first in communication and she has a day to respond. All free unless you want some beefier services to increase your chances in getting a conversation. Ads are few in between. ### 5/5 — Met my match *2020-09-24, version 2.36* I’ve tried all of the dating apps, no joke. I’ve gone out on good dates, bad ones, hookups, flings, you name it. But nothing stuck. One day my roommate told me to download ChristianSlide because she found it and on other dating apps we both had we’d tend to match with the same people frequently. I downloaded it with no expectations and honestly no real hopes. A couple weeks of harmless flirting later, I get a message from a guy. Nothing new, nothing surprising but I have an interesting feeling about this one. The conversation is good and he seems genuine but I’m dating around, getting a little serious with someone else so he doesn’t get priority but I don’t want to let go either. The other thing ends and now this guy has my full attention, he asks me out and I like him so I go. He turns out to be the sweetest, most wonderful guy that I have ever met, let alone dated. Turns out we’ve got a decent amount in common and we’ve almost crossed paths before but if it wasn’t for ChristianSlide, I never would’ve met the love of my life. It hasn’t quite been a year yet since we started dating but we’ve talked about our future together traveling, marriage, children and I know without a doubt that he’s the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. I think ChristianSlide is the best dating app and then bumble.
