The music was nostalgic & very Christmassy, the game was fun to play but just challenging enough, & the watching the scenes come together was satisfying. Now the levels are impossible to beat without buying power ups (and winning a level is the only way you can get gems for free, so be prepared to pay real hard-earned money), and there’s no option to buy ad-free playtime anymore, and there’s an ad between every. single. level. It’s become an incredibly frustrating game now, not even worth the free download, and I’m sad that I no longer have the seasonal game I used to love. 1,000% not worth it anymore; thoroughly disappointing. ### 4/5 — Played for Many Years *2025-10-19, version 4.1.39* I have played this game at Christmas for years and years and have always been happy to contribute by doing some in-app purchases. I really love it. However… now there are ads and ads, after every attempt at every level. It has taken away so much joy from the game. I don’t mind watching an ad to get diamonds to help me with extra moves for a level but those break too and freeze and zoom way in and then I rarely can get diamonds now. I have spent money two or three times on purchasing things that will help me achieve these goals only to be robbed of it all.
