My only quibble is that like most Domini games, I spend far too much time looking for knives (or knife-like objects), and other tools (what, I can’t reach into a hole with a stick, or crochet needle, but have to find clamps?) which I immediately discard after using, only to need something similar a few scenes later. Domini - if you’re reading this, please assume that your players have some intelligence and would like their characters to have the same :) ### 4/5 — Christmas Spirit: Journey by LynxMinx *2020-12-26, version 1.0.2* Update: The game gods have been good to us this week. Besides this gorgeous Christmas game, Domini has released Fairy Godmother Tales: Red Riding Hood, Elephant released Grim Tales:Heritage and Mad Head released Rite of Passage: Bloodlines. Note to dval: thank you for recognizing how much work I do on behalf of the players. Please try and contact me if you can. Thank you, Oleg for the wonderful homage. The doll definitely resembles me. So now the players will know what I would look like as a cartoon character, lol! This game was magnificent and magical. It had a cute storyline about discarded toys. The variety of puzzles and HO scenes was terrific. Each location provided a plethora of enjoyable tasks. There were plenty of collectibles, and the coins could be used to decorate a beautiful winter scene. Of course there were some downsides. For one, those rats were extremely lifelike and certain players were petrified of them. But we don’t deduct stars for those. I will, however, deduct a star because the game was very brief inclusive of the bonus adventure and the lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface made the game very difficult to play. I had to resort to match-3 in some of the HO scenes in order to progress through the game. One should not have had to tap that incredibly hard to add inventory items or try multiple times to utilize them. Please ensure that your gameplay interface has heightened sensitivity in the coming year! My final rating will remain at 4 stars. My deal has finally come to fruition. The first EIPIX game to be released will be Phantasmat 10. It will be after January 12th, for whatever reason. I will keep you posted. Merry Christmas to all! However there are several glitches... when trying to paint carved reindeer, the brush disappears and therefore this must be skipped to proceed. I tried reinstalling and had same problem each time. I played as new player and still had no luck with this. Also, some items are too close to map & hint buttons and I nearly missed them. While there is a variety of puzzles, I found most very simplistic. There are lots of collectibles for those who enjoy that aspect of game. You do have option to find objects in hog scenes or play match 3. I enjoyed the lightheartedness of the game, even though I prefer something with a little darker theme. I would like to thank LynxMinx & her team for all the hard work they have done this year to help bring us games. It has been an awful year for us all and having these games helps to escape a little. Stay Safe! ### 4/5 — Puzzle Issue w/ No Workaround (Glitch Now Fixed) *2020-12-21, version 1.0.2* When I solved the wall puzzle in the storeroom, no cache of item(s) was awarded. When I selected “Hint” within the puzzle window, no suggested action was indicated. Since the item(s) were necessary to progress further in the game, the gameplay is at a dead halt with no workaround. Update: Thank you for your rapid response to my problem report. You did indeed fix the issue. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Globe doesn’t show in inventory *2021-12-21, version 1.0.4* I’m having the same problem as others - the globe at the beginning of the game doesn’t show up in my inventory. Items disappearing seems to be a recurring problem for Domini Games and I have avoided their games for a while for this reason but couldn’t resist a Christmas game. My bad luck. ### 1/5 — Glitch *2021-08-19, version 1.0.4* The item that with a plus sign in the first part won’t show up. the hint tells me to combine it but it won’t show up and i need that item to continue. ### 1/5 — Getting the globe to show up in the inventory..... *2020-12-24, version 1.0.2* When finding the globe at the very beginning of the game, I’m unable to get it to hit with the hammer to retrieve the key. The globe goes into my inventory but is hidden showing a RED plus (+) sign. There is nothing in the strategy guide telling me to add to the globe. I used the hammer and noth8ng..... It shut down on me twice whilst playing the bonus game, and a couple of mini puzzles had glitches to them. But apart from that the game was good. **Developer response:** Hello!
