Very disappointing ### 2/5 — It’s been 3 years *2025-12-07, version 2.7.3* This Bluetooth on the device disconnects constantly. In the last year it has not been able to picked up/found. So I can’t use the speaker. ### 1/5 — Worked briefly *2025-11-03, version 2.7.3* The Bluetooth worked for hot minute. Maybe a month. It doesn’t find the device automatically. You have to go to your Bluetooth to find it that way. It then stopped connecting. Tried removing the device to re-add it and now it won’t find it at all. The fan still works but can’t connect to it anymore. Definitely looked too good to be true. ### 1/5 — WARNING! This app will not work anymore with new IOS system update! *2025-11-02, version 2.7.3* I was always not very impressed with this app due to the glitching and lag time while changing colors or just even pairing with my phone for music. After updating my iPhone 16 to the new IOS 26, the application doesn’t recognize my device anymore. I am able to pair my phone through the Bluetooth for my music, and that’s it. Disappointed that the creators haven’t updated this in quite some time, especially with the common issues in all reviews that are posted. ### 1/5 — Never connects *2025-10-15, version 2.7.3* No reason to buy it for the features because they never work. ### 1/5 — Turning off the automatic light sensor does nothing *2025-10-15, version 2.7.3* -Turning off the automatic light sensor doesn’t work. Device still continues to turn on even after disabling the feature -Enabling the feature doesn’t retain automatic light at the previous light setting (bright vs dim) ### 1/5 — App is junk *2025-09-22, version 2.7.3* Super laggy and glitchy connection. The app should have the ability to re-order the color list and delete colors from the list, but it doesn’t. There’s no way to quickly swipe through them to change it and it pauses quite a while between each swipe. Theres also a glitch when you put too long of a title for the color, it gets cut off and you can no longer access the editing menu to change the name or the color itself. Half the time it doesn’t connect. Tried to submit feedback and it bounced saying their email address doesn’t exist anymore. ### 1/5 — Bathroom fan with speaker *2025-09-19, version 2.7.3* Loved this at first. Then it stopped responding. A blue light now circles instead of green. I have to keep the bathroom door closed so I don’t see it all night. I cannot get it to connect. Nothing can find it. There should be an option in the app to report errors. Calling in to fix an app is not going to fix it. App is broken. Everytime you go back into it, whether it’s android or iOS it doesn’t update with the current condition of the fan or light. Sometimes will show it still on when it’s not or vice versa. After that I can no longer connect via Bluetooth. It’s not my Apple phone because I can connect that to a random scooter in the park. Physical buttons work minimally. Guess it’s time to remove the device and app. Wish I could give it ZERO stars ### 1/5 — Concept great, execution 0/10 *2025-07-26, version 2.7.3* Again the concept of this is Fantastic, I’d love to be able to turn the fan on and off on humid days. However you might get lucky and get to turn it on but it’s definitely a one trick pony. You get one move then turn off and start over again. For real update the app so it works. Stop slacking show some balls and make my 300$ fan work the way it’s suppose to. ### 1/5 — Cannot connect *2025-07-10, version 2.7.3* **Good evening,** I’m writing to express my frustration with the Chrome Comfort speaker. For the past two days, I’ve been unable to connect it via Bluetooth. Despite the app showing up in my Bluetooth settings, I continue to receive an error code. I’ve checked both my cellular and Bluetooth configurations, and the device appears to be listed—but it still will not connect. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the app has not been updated in over two years, which raises concerns about continued support for the product. I purchased this fan two years ago with the expectation that I could enjoy listening to music in my bathroom. Had I known it wouldn’t be properly maintained or compatible long-term, I would not have bought it. I’d appreciate it if someone could advise whether there’s an updated app available or a fix for this issue. But this thing is so slow, so basic, & don’t even think about renaming the speaker bc if you do it won’t be able to find it again, which makes me question how more than one would ever work in anyone’s house. This app looks and functions like it came out on the original iPhone & hasn’t been touched since 3G was the thing. This app has no benefit. It won’t connect to any smart home system. You have to be relatively close to use it to turn on the light which you could easily do using the wall switch. It can only be used to connect your phone to have music. Works great, lots of features I didn’t expect like a timer for the fan for effortless dehumidification after showers, series of color combinations(scenes) with very broad ability to customize(single colors too).
