## What is Chronicle?

Chronicle is the character creation companion for Renaissance faire participants, LARPers, and historical cosplay enthusiasts. Build a fully realized historical persona — personality, layered costume, and a rich backstory — before you ever set foot at the gate.
Choose your era from five historically grounded periods — Renaissance, Medieval, Victorian, Elizabethan, and Ancient World — each with multiple regional variants. Italian Renaissance nobility, Norse Viking warrior, Victorian Gothic, Elizabethan court, Egyptian pharaonic. Your story lives in the details.
Chronicle guides you through a personality quiz that surfaces your archetype — Noble, Knight, Scholar, Merchant, Bard, Healer, Rogue, or Clergy — then builds a character name and backstory specific to your era, region, and identity. Backstories are generated on your device and never transmitted anywhere.
Browse full-outfit presets for a complete look in seconds and preview your costume in augmented reality — both free for everyone. See how your historical outfit looks on you using your device camera before committing to a single purchase.
