## What is Chronos Augmented Reality?

Chronos puts a real timeline on your real table and then dares you to use it.

No multiple choice. No “what year was it” — nobody knows what year it was. You know roughly, which is exactly the amount of history required to embarrass yourself in front of people you love.

Here’s the game. Draw the pink card: a face, a first, a flop, a flight, a law, a song. Something famous. Something you are absolutely sure about. Now slide it into the line. Too early and history says no. Too late and somebody is already sitting there. Land it dead on and you will nod like you knew. You didn’t. We all saw.

The whole thing stands up on your table in AR — an actual timeline across the actual wood, cards where you put them, everyone leaning in. Or play it on a classic board if the table is buried in laundry. We don’t judge. (We judge a little.)

SOLO You, a growing line, and the slow realisation that the printing press is much older than you assumed. One free game a day. Replay until you look like a genius, switch decks, go straight back to being a menace.

PARTY Nearby iPhones pass the turn around the table. Cheer a perfect slot. Howl at the moon landing filed next to the steam engine. Say “trust me” once and watch the entire room stop trusting you. Guests join free and never see an ad.

CLASSROOM Put the line where the whole room can see it. Students place, defend, revise — and argue their way into actually remembering it. The pink card is the prompt. The argument is the lesson. No logins, no accounts, no excuses.

Famous decks are included and run offline, first card to last. Build your own deck too — your holidays, your band, your family’s greatest hits — then watch everyone confidently get it wrong.

Draw the pink card. Find the slot. Be extremely sure about it.

Play free with the Famous decks (one Solo game a day; optional short child-directed ad). Party and Classroom are always open — hosting a party needs Unlock Chronos, hosting a class needs Classroom Teacher. Guests and students join free and never see ads. Unlock Chronos: full catalogue, no ads, no daily limit, Party host tools, custom export. Classroom Teacher: host lessons and homework. Voice, custom decks and coach Myndy all stay optional. And nobody, ever, spoils the year.

Features: • Table AR timeline — or play on a classic board • Free Famous decks offline — no server, no signal, no problem; Unlock for the full catalogue • Free Solo — 1 game per day (Unlock removes ads & the daily limit) • Party — nearby iPhones share turns; browser companions can Pulse vibe (host Pro tools via Unlock); guests never see ads • Classroom — teacher hosts the answers; waves of up to four (Teacher SKU; students free, no ads) • Build your own deck — create and play locally; export / Geek transfer via Unlock • Optional one-time in-app purchases via Apple ID; Restore on your other devices • Voice commands and a Playbook that actually explains things

Prefer a flat surface. Local Network is required for Party and Classroom.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-30

Chronos is an AR timeline puzzle. Point the camera at a table — or any other place you like — and use the real world as your playground. A timeline appears in your surroundings. You get a pink mystery — a face, a first, a flop — and one job: find the right time slot.

New this time:
HelloPrint now plays as a founder-checked timeline: press dates sit on the card (19 September 1928, 10 October 2000, 14 February 2018, 13 July 2016, 19 November 2018, 17 December 2025). Year-only culture cards stay year-only. Weak footnotes are gone.
NASA, SpaceX, Apple, Waterloo, the Berlin Wall, and other history decks now carry the public day or month when the record is that precise. Dual-event cards stay on the year.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-29

Chronos is an AR timeline puzzle. Point the camera at a table — or any other place you like — and use the real world as your playground. A timeline appears in your surroundings. You get a pink mystery — a face, a first, a flop — and one job: find the right time slot.

New this time:
• Configurable deck size & smart randomization: Decks with more than 10 moments now default to 10 smartly sampled cards spanning the subject's entire timeline from early beginnings to modern milestones. Tailor your game length in Settings with 5, 10, 15, 20, or Full Deck options.
• Precision date display: When multiple moments share the same year (or when your mystery card matches a placed year), timeline cards and the full inspect view now dynamically reveal complete dates (day, month, year) to pinpoint the exact sequence.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-26

Chronos is an AR timeline puzzle. Point the camera at a table — or any other place you like — and use the real world as your playground. A timeline appears in your surroundings. You get a pink mystery — a face, a first, a flop — and one job: find the right time slot.

New this time:
Deck diary now drops the table photo in Photos — not only the share sheet. Share run sends the whole confession: grade, score, time, and the funny facts you will deny later.
Drag a card to the rim and the rail walks with you. We call it edge-scroll.
Finish a homemade deck and it stays on this phone. Export a copy. Find it later under Famous → Your own decks. Geek import is how a deck leaves the house.
The pink mystery waits until the first milestone has finished talking. Glance away after Place and the table stays findable. Mute the phone and Chronos asks you to turn the volume up — instead of narrating into the void.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-22

Bugfixes:
The prices were set wrong:
Unlock Chronos (€2.99) is the full game: every Famous deck, Party host, no ads. Classroom Teacher (€14.99) hosts lessons — students join free. Locked decks now show a clear lock. Free Solo shows the short ad before play.

New features:
- When the game starts the first timeline card is now explained and animated.
- Locked Deck were grayed but the lock icon was mssing.
