See what happened where you stand. Chronos Snap turns places into illustrated journeys through time. Chronos Snap uses your current location to research real historical events connected to the spot where you stand — then presents them as a visual timeline with descriptive context, period-inspired images, and a collectible medallion saved to your personal map. EXPLORE HISTORY AROUND YOU Start from wherever you are standing — a city street, a landmark, a historical site, a neighborhood, or anywhere you travel. Chronos Snap finds your position and researches what happened right there. WATCH HISTORY COME ALIVE Each journey is built on real historical research. A typical timeline spans several eras, and each event can include a year, title, historical category (political events, battles, construction, cultural milestones, discoveries), descriptive context, and an AI-generated period-style illustration. A VISUAL TIMELINE FOR EVERY PLACE History is presented as a scrollable illustrated timeline rather than a list of facts. Move through events chronologically and see how a location changed over time. COLLECT GOLDEN MEDALLIONS Every completed journey automatically becomes a collectible medallion — place name, city and country, historical year range, event count, and representative artwork. Your medallions are stored privately in your account. BUILD YOUR PERSONAL HISTORY MAP Saved medallions appear as golden pins on your map. As your collection grows, it becomes a visual record of the places you have explored through history. Tap any pin to reopen its complete timeline. INTERACTIVE 3D MAP The Explore screen includes a dynamic 3D map centered on your location. View your position, see saved medallions, open journeys directly from the map, and expand it full screen to pan, zoom, and rotate. AI-ASSISTED HISTORICAL RESEARCH Chronos Snap uses AI-assisted research with a web-grounded historical research stage followed by image generation. Generation may take a few minutes because the app researches the location before building your illustrated timeline — and it continues on the server even if you leave the progress screen. YOUR DAILY JOURNEY Chronos Snap is free to use. Everyone — guest or account — receives one free historical journey per UTC day, resetting at midnight UTC. If a generation fails, your daily journey is automatically refunded. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no advertisements. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Start exploring straight away as a guest. Create an account (email, Google or Apple) whenever you like to keep your medallions safe across devices — everything you collected as a guest comes with you. You can delete your data or account in your profile at any time. A NOTE ON ACCURACY Historical events and descriptions are generated with AI assistance using historical research sources, and may contain inaccuracies or omissions. Chronos Snap is an exploration and discovery experience rather than an authoritative academic reference. Every illustration is labelled as AI-generated, and you can report anything inaccurate or inappropriate from the timeline. Chronos Snap is for adults aged 18 and over. WHO CHRONOS SNAP IS FOR Travellers, history lovers, curious explorers — and anyone who has ever wondered: what happened here before I arrived? Stand somewhere.
