I can’t get the app to connect, but it’s not needed for the device to run. Love the device — great for those cold winter walks with the dogs!

A pointless time wasting app that does literally nothing and requires email/login to do it: Firmware update. And I meant “literally nothing” because my device happened to not need it anyway (good, I guess).

The rest of the functionality is (or should be) already on the site: Links to support site ticketing system and the support email (which hilariously just auto replies asking you to use the support site ticketing system).

This rating/review is mostly frustration. I am just sick of every thing I touch trying to collect more data about me, and associate me to something else, so that I can be better marketed to. If I am not willing to sign with google or apple credentials, and let them track me, and/or share my info with vendors, then I just don’t get access to support, or firmware updates. The device is pricey, but cool, and I don’t regret the purchase. I guess I will use it without the “IMPORTANT FIRMWARE UPDATE”, and hope for the best.  The app, in its current state is useless to me.
