ChurchTools is the perfect app for your church community. You can use it to get the latest info, keep an eye on dates, confirm or decline your assignments and much more. To use the app, you first need access to ChurchTools. POSTS Posts enable your church community to share information about congregational topics at any time and from anywhere. This means you know more about each other and it is easier for people in your church to stay informed and get involved. It also opens up another way to reach those who are not yet in your congregation. EVENTS Service assignments are brought to your mobile phone by push. You can confirm, decline and comment on them. For example, if you are leading a church service or event, or simply volunteering, you can easily read the agenda of the event by using the app. Furthermore, you can see with whom you are assigned to a for an event or service. At the tab Discover you will find more future events. PEOPLE With the search in Discover you can find people and contact them directly. It also displays additional information such as relationships and tags. And for sure, you can upload a nice new picture for your own profile. GROUPS Find interesting public groups within your church community and register directly. All other groups that are visible to you will be listed and with the appropriate permission you can also view the participants of the group. CHAT From now on you can use the app to chat with individual people, with all members in a specific event or, for example, with your small group. You can create news channels in which only people with a specific role can write, all others have read-only access. Furthermore, the chat allows you to send pictures and documents. Vor allem der Messenger bietet Basics, die andere Messenger alle können nicht, z.B. Sprachnachrichten, Weiterleitung oder Umfragetools. Das blödeste ist, dass es letzteres in der Browservariante gibt, aber in der App nicht angezeigt wird. Wenn man also im Browser im Messenger eine Umfrage startet und keiner antwortet, kann es daran liegen, dass sie die Anderen nicht sehen, weil sie nur die App nutzen. Fail!!! Das kann zu Fehlkommunikation führen, obwohl die App ja das Gegenteil erreichen möchte. Bitte unbedingt nachbessern!!! ### 3/5 — Aktuell teilweise Störung *2025-11-22, version 0.71.1* Auf IPhone mit iOS 26 seit drei Tagen werden keine pdf mehr geöffnet und ein Download führt nur zu einer leeren Datei. Bei Login im Browser läuft alles gut. Mehrere Accounts auf IPhone gestetet und alle haben dasselbe Problem. Problem auch bei IOS 18 ### 5/5 — Sehr hilfreich *2025-10-26* Die App wie das Organisationstool sind eine große Hilfe im Gemeindealltag. Wir sind eine große Gemeinde mit über 8000 Mitgliedern und 10 Orten und können mithilfe von Churchtools unsere Gemeinde gut organisieren. Die iPhone-App ist sehr gut aufgebaut und gibt mir einen guten und schnellen Überblick über die Gemeindekalender, meine Dienste und — sehr erwähnenswert — die neuesten Chatnachrichten aus unserer Gemeinde. ### 3/5 — Sehr nützlich- außer der Chat *2025-09-21, version 0.69.0* Die App ist ein großer Pluspunkt für die Orga der Gemeinde im Alltag (natürlich nur in Verbindung mit der ChurchTools-Gemeindestruktur) Aber: Wann bringt Ihr endlich den Chat auf ein (mind. einigermaßen) zeitgemäßes Niveau, z.B mit „gelesen / ungelesen“, Sprachnachrichten ? ### 1/5 — Sehr rudimentäre Umsetzung *2025-01-12, version 0.62.1* Leider fehlt in ChurchTools so einiges, was es in der Web Ansicht gibt. Sehr störend ist, dass man die Kalender bei den Events nicht auswählen kann. Ich bekomme Kalendereinträge angezeigt, die nicht für mich interessant sind. Das macht das ganze Tool total unübersichtlich. Sehr störend ist auch, dass man den Bildschirm nicht drehen kann. So steht das Tablet unnötiger Weise auf dem An/Aus Knopf. ### 5/5 — Sehr gut *2024-11-03* Fehler werden regelmäßig behoben und der Funktionsumfang wächst. ### 5/5 — Anfangs etwas schwierig jetzt Top *2024-10-06* Am Anfang war die App wirklich etwas speziell in der Bedienung, aber nun ist sie eine echte Arbeitserleichterung geworden. Nicht nur die App sondern ChurchTools allgemein entwickelt sich stetig weiter. Der Support ist total klasse und man bekommt immer Hilfe wenn man diese braucht. Ich möchte ChurchTools nicht mehr missen und kann es nur jedem empfehlen. Bei planningcenter geht das. ### 2/5 — Ganz gut aber … *2024-03-17* Es kamen die letzten 1-2 Jahre einige neue Funktionen hinzu aber perfekt ist es noch nicht. Was am meisten stört: die App hängt sich regelmäßig im standby Hintergrund auf. Vor allem die Nachrichten werden dann nicht mehr aktualisiert/ Fehler beim Laden wird angezeigt und wenn man die App beendet und neu startet geht es dann wieder.
