### 4/5 — good🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

*2026-03-15*

lyrics is terrible but remote is good

### 1/5 — App crashes whenever I try to connect to my pc

*2025-11-29*

App crashes whenever I try to connect to my pc. This has been an issue for a year

### 2/5 — Good idea, buggy execution

*2025-10-28*

It took multiple tries to get the remote to connect appropriately, some of that was user error but the documentation is a little limited. However, the app now crashes any time I attempt to actually use the remote that can connect to my instance of Cider. For the 20 or so minutes it was working it was great, I loved the functionality and thought it looked fantastic. Right now it’s too unreliable for me to recommend but I see the vision and I hope for improvements in the future.

### 1/5 — Barely works

*2025-06-15*

Horrible. Barely works, takes forever to connect, doesn’t let you do anything other than skip songs and play/pause. If you wanna access your library, you have to use the cider app on pc which defeats the purpose of a remote (take iTunes Remote for example)

**Developer response:** Hello, we'd like to point out that the latest Cider Remote release: Remote v3.0.3 actually added the "Library Browser" which lets you view your recently added albums and singles. Cider Remote has other features than "skip songs and play/pause" as well.

### 2/5 — Great At What It Does

*2025-06-05*

Love using this as a desktop controller for my music while I’m doing things on my computer."

### 5/5 — real recognizes real

*2025-05-26*

imagine you are apple music and cider is the guy she tells you not to worry about, ur cooked bro🙏
