My network is stable and it shows up on my router but it won’t connect. Leads to frustrating moments when you’re away and you’re trying to manage your split with this, not knowing if you’ll be able to shut it off. Again, used to work really well but something changed. ### 4/5 — Works well with one catch *2026-06-21, version 6.1.1* Overall really happy with the app. It’s intuitive and has many good options. My only downside is that for Comfy Max it only lets you choose even temperatures (ie 72, 74, 76). I would like to be incremental by one degree. ### 2/5 — Loses sync with wall unit *2026-06-11, version 6.1.1* While this app is great in principle, in truth it loses sync with the Breez wall unit far too often. In other words, when you manually change the temperature setting on the unit, many times the iOS app does not update to reflect this, so it shows a different temperature setting, rendering it useless. I’ve tried reinstalling, changing AC types… nothing works. Unfortunate. ### 2/5 — This product misses the mark in a lot of ways. *2026-05-17, version 6.1.0* I am happy leaving this with the new owners buying my house. All four of them. I can not believe how unintuitive the most important feature is, follow me. Why in the world can I not make sure this feature stays turned on 24/7 is beyond me. It would be so simple to have a setting that when the tenant turns the AC off and then back on that their app should automatically enable follow me. Instead my tenant in phoenix sets their AC to the minimum allowed by me, 66f but the AC continues to run till around 62 degrees in my casita. Also very bummed I can get a Cielo wall thermostat and program the mini splits and central to work together while not ruining my power bill. During peak demand before the central AC needs to draw 6500 watts I would want the mini splits to be told to stop drawing 2000 watts by raising the temperature. And when the central runs during off peak hours theres no reason to not run the mini splits at a more powerful setting to help the central mix the cold air from the bedrooms to the rest of the house. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t operate properly *2026-01-19, version 6.0.2* Web app is fine, but thermostats don’t actually obey the set temperature and heat 4-6 degrees past. ### 4/5 — Amazing app. Needs two things *2026-01-15, version 6.0.2* This is really an amazing app so if I could give it 4.5 stars I would. Don’t hesitate to buy these devices if you have mini splits. We have 3 on a multi-zone and so far it is amazing. I did have an issue with it recognizing my remote model on setup automatically so it would turn off but not on. Once I went in and manually configured and chose the correct model it worked perfectly. Here’s a few things I wish the app did. 1) Ability to create your own custom presets. Home, Away, and Sleep are the basics but others could be helpful. 2) Need to have temp ranges or presets or something be able to change with the season. In the summer my comfortable temp range is definitely different than in the winter. 3) Ability to share schedules across devices or copy at least instead of having to recreate the schedule from scratch each time. Other than those things this app does everything you would want it to do and these thermostats are worth every penny for mini split owners especially. It was disappointing that they offer no web browser control in the beginning. They still wont even release a dedicated app for the Mac or iPads which is incredibly easy to do with apple product. Sure I can run the iPad app on my desktop but thats tacky. Still not even talking about bringing it to HomeKit, no clue why they wont do that either. ### 2/5 — NOT A THERMOSTAT *2025-10-16, version 5.2.0* It is not a thermostat it is a thermometer with extras The unit works somewhat but has bugs as does the app No way to switch units so only Celsius I bought to replace remote that came with unit but still need remote to access all functions Not worth the cost ### 3/5 — Works, but *2025-06-23, version 5.1.2* I just wish it would show me the fan speed and mode. It works fine for basic functions but doesn’t have sophisticated features that you might expect, like temp ranges or turning off the unit when satisfied. The history function doesn’t distinguish between operating modes, just total run time. It constantly asks you to create a Cielo account, but if you already have a Cielo account (like I do), it gets stuck in a loop because it thinks your Google email address is using the Google login, even if you log directly into the app without using Google. Frustrating. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-11-28, version 4.6.5* It’s just a glorified remote control extender. The temperature sensor on the thermostat doesn’t matter, the mini split still does what it wants. For example, you can set the Cielo to 65, the room temp reads 70 and the heat will still be blowing. Comfy mode doesn’t work. The app keeps losing power on/off sync. It would be really easy to control temperature. When temperature is reached on the stat, just send a command to run fan only mode and return to heat or cool mode when stat indicates it’s needed. Now I can set the temp before I get to my RV and it will be cooled. Thank you so much for this great item. ### 5/5 — Success! *2026-06-27, version 6.7.0* Received Cielo Max from Amazon 1-1/2 hours ago and already have it registered, paired and running smoothly on my iPhone. Great product! My mini split had serious problems with its WiFi module but Cielo Max as cured the problems. Amazon sent me an advertisement on Cielo Max Wednesday got it today and my worries are over. Got the sale price and saved addition $20 dollars. I recommend this product and Amazon both are amazing! ### 5/5 — Flawless *2026-06-24, version 6.7.0* Perfect wireless controller for my Mitsubishi ductless inverter AC/Heater . Approaching 2 years without any issues. Controls while on the road and when in the house. Simple interface :-) This app controls the Cielo Breeze Max which controls my Mitsubishi MSZ-GL24NA/MUZ-GL24NA unit. The Breeze Max has multiple infrared transceivers which gives control in all angles and better distances for Line of sight communications to the Mitsubishi. AND it works with and in conjunction with the Mitsubishi’s remote control. Be patient when setting up the Breeze Max, when setting up temperature synchronization.
